Bad Company Manager (ApiMod for Servers)

Nacron83, this is a known RAT issue (assuming you've loaded the mod to the correct folder, and dont have it in a sub folder).  The BC mod is loading, it's just that the green lights at the bottom of the RAT window don't turn green.  To fix it, start your server with RAT.  Once the server is up and running, from the RAT Tools menu select "Requery Mod List", and the lights should turn green for you.

Fixed in RAT 2064

I have never used the Remote Admin Tool before, 
I use Allocs, Botman and BCManager, and I have always 
been able to set prefabs with bc-import in the game 
until yesterday's last patch
A19 b177 it doesn't work anymore.

I'm playing in "LAN" with Zerotier and Radmin enabled so I have virtual adapters from both software (I'm behind NAT so I can't use my public IP for anything), I'm guessing those have something to do with getting this error?

 

Server is A19 b180.

I might be blind, but where would I find the source code?


The archives on git don't have it, it's just empty folders and readme's.

 

Really need to remove the "your message was blocked, you have been muted" message, when issuing prefixed commands :)

Good question... I've been using BCManager for awhile, and always wondered where the source code vanished to. I opened a GitHub Issue with the project: https://github.com/7days2mod/BadCompanySM/issues/63

It's no longer open source, and bc-import is no longer supported, likely not until gold.

7DTD optional update to A19.3 b3 experimental - now I'm getting this error on server, not getting same result in A19.2 stable, doesn't seem to cause an issue running server, yet curious if anyone else getting this or know what's it' s all about? Seems to want to look for update... yet what do I know.... thanks.

Some modders (myself included) don't usually update for experimentals.  We'd be chasing those forever if we did.  Best to stick with releases imo.

the game runs and dedicated server seems OK to play on but I am getting this same thing on (19.3 b3)

Looks like they made a change to the unity engine, well I heard alpha 20 is supposed to run on the new engine

Oh, but it is. StompyNZ threw a fit on his original mirror of the project. I finally sat down and got the DLL to rebuild successfully with dotnetcore. MIT project. I posted in another thread somewhere on the forums here. Grown-ups wearing diapers.

Weird, I've never seen that show up and I played this on 19.3... Maybe you have a odd version of the binary DLL or something. It definitely doesn't look compatible. I think SetInvestigatePosition is a Unity thing.

 

I have not gotten much of a chance to really dig into the 7dtd-specifics around the Models and Entities yet for Unity. My initial goal was to rebuild the DLL and fix the bc-export feature since it had a strange Path problem when not using the materialized path with the Prefab.Save() method.

 

Frankly I'm not even sure what/where needs to be fixed in the module right now, but it is up on gitlab now and happy to make anyone a contributor if they're interested. I'm sure we're far beyond any sort of warm fuzzies at this point, but StompyNZ is the original author and is also welcome to weigh in.

well i downloaded the latest  and I still get that error

do you have a copy of the DLL already compiled?
