Bad Company Manager (ApiMod for Servers)

Nacron83, this is a known RAT issue (assuming you've loaded the mod to the correct folder, and dont have it in a sub folder).  The BC mod is loading, it's just that the green lights at the bottom of the RAT window don't turn green.  To fix it, start your server with RAT.  Once the server is up and running, from the RAT Tools menu select "Requery Mod List", and the lights should turn green for you.

Fixed in RAT 2064

I have never used the Remote Admin Tool before,
I use Allocs, Botman and BCManager, and I have always
been able to set prefabs with bc-import in the game
until yesterday's last patch
A19 b177 it doesn't work anymore.

Botman mod???

I'm playing in "LAN" with Zerotier and Radmin enabled so I have virtual adapters from both software (I'm behind NAT so I can't use my public IP for anything), I'm guessing those have something to do with getting this error?

Server is A19 b180.

I might be blind, but where would I find the source code?

The archives on git don't have it, it's just empty folders and readme's.

Really need to remove the "your message was blocked, you have been muted" message, when issuing prefixed commands :)

Looking for that 2, any chance you found already?

Good question... I've been using BCManager for awhile, and always wondered where the source code vanished to. I opened a GitHub Issue with the project: https://github.com/7days2mod/BadCompanySM/issues/63

7DTD optional update to A19.3 b3 experimental - now I'm getting this error on server, not getting same result in A19.2 stable, doesn't seem to cause an issue running server, yet curious if anyone else getting this or know what's it' s all about? Seems to want to look for update... yet what do I know.... thanks.

the game runs and dedicated server seems OK to play on but I am getting this same thing on (19.3 b3)

Looks like they made a change to the unity engine, well I heard alpha 20 is supposed to run on the new engine

Weird, I've never seen that show up and I played this on 19.3... Maybe you have a odd version of the binary DLL or something. It definitely doesn't look compatible. I think SetInvestigatePosition is a Unity thing.

I have not gotten much of a chance to really dig into the 7dtd-specifics around the Models and Entities yet for Unity. My initial goal was to rebuild the DLL and fix the bc-export feature since it had a strange Path problem when not using the materialized path with the Prefab.Save() method.

Frankly I'm not even sure what/where needs to be fixed in the module right now, but it is up on gitlab now and happy to make anyone a contributor if they're interested. I'm sure we're far beyond any sort of warm fuzzies at this point, but StompyNZ is the original author and is also welcome to weigh in.

Chipping back in here, I incorrectly read 19.3 as 19.2. My apologies.

I haven't tested 19.3 yet either myself... I could publish a DLL file. I was actually planning when I get a bit of time to just create a quick CI pipeline that autobuilds these on GitLab, but I am not sure how the licensing issue works out with regards to the ownership of the game files (e.g. if it's OK to use a pre-built Docker image that contains the game DLL files), so I'll do a little bit of research on that first.

None of you have even asked permission to distrubute my code, so it is directrly in violation of the EULA

please remove all your downloads of my code or I will have to resort to other measures

Thomas Farvour you are a real piece of work.

not satisfied that I shot you down when you DEMANDED I give you the code to my mod, you are now reverse engineering it and redistributing it on the forums... wow... you are a scumbag

for those that have some degree of a conscience and wont use the above illegally hacked version of bcm, please rest assured that a new server manager that incorporates many of the bcm features will be available soon.

everyone except Mr Farvour will be welcomed to use it

As for Mr Farvour, I suggest you aquaint yourself with the rules stickied to the head of this forum section.

specifically 1., and 2. under general guidelines, and 6. under forum rules.

You explicitly do NOT have my permission to steal my code, aside from the complete lack of ethics you are showing here

btw it appears you have included a file in your illegal repo that shouldn't have been in the dll you hacked but nevertheless is proprietary information owned by Fonterra NZ. Im sure you dont want a multi billion dollar company coming after your for releasing that information.
