War of the Walkers Mod (Overhaul)

The problem is that my server auto updated to 16.4 :p

That way I cant join :p

 

If you are playing regular War of the Walkers, without the Bigger Back Pack, that should still work.

 

Delete mod in the Mod Launcher, and re-install using Alpha 16.4 from Steam.

 

The bigger back pack will need a change though, before it can be used.

nooooo. I rented a server a few days ago and have been struggling to set it up as i'm new to this. its just a server for a few friends of me.

after failing to install the modpack on the server, as it wouldn't let me upload dll files as i wanted the BBM version and several tickets back and forth i settled with the normal WotW without BBM. tested the server and it worked.

then it was just to wait until the weekend and buy beer so we all could start. witch we did today. aaaaand.... we have no mobs or animals and theres no clothing from loot >.<

 

this is the only time i hate that there has been a new update to 7 days :( so badly timed! F.

I can confirm, with a few games running different mods I started this one again with 16.4 (b8) and so far this mod is working the best with the new build.

 

New game, single player, RWG and no console errors or odd game play noticed just yet anyways.. :)

So the mod is working for A16.4? Bc When I update the server it and then replace the files with War of the walkers and server dll it gives me a error that im currently wrong version?

Game get stuck in loading game data.

 

I tried installing manually, with the launcher, reinstalled the game 3 time. Tried with the github. I am NOT using EAC, anyway when i do i only get a blackscreen. Im trying to use the Bigguer backpack version of the game.

 

What could cause that? Im not used to mod this game at all, but i did managed to make my own backpack version for 16.3 with no problem. Got some good experience as modder in other game. But here? I have no feedback on whats going on so i cant really know.

 

I would hazard a guess a file is currupted somewhere...

B64 is broken with 16.4

 

The last version B64 is not working for me with last update. Last few meaningful lines form the log:

The last part keeps repeating until I kill the game.

The previous version B62 works.

Removed local files and re-downloaded everything. No change.

 

Running Linux here, so something might be behaving differently from Windows.

Im new to adding mods to 7 Days to die. Do I just download the files and copy and paste them into the 7 Days to die Folder under Steam Apps? I did try once and I kept getting alot of errors in the game and Im wondering if I am doing something wrong.

 

Im also guessing any time there is a new update to the Mod I need to make sure I replace the old stuff in the folder with the new stuff?

 

Sorry abit of a noob but really love this mod and would really like it to work for me.

 

Any help would be great.

Still broken. Think I've found the problem. You accidentally deleted these 2 files:

7DaysToDie_Data/Managed/SDX.Core.dll

7DaysToDie_Data/Managed/SDX.Payload.dll

 

After restoring them from the B62 version game starts correctly.

Still broken.

Clarification. I'm using Git directly instead of downloading zip file. So when you removed those 2 SDX files from repository it deleted them from the game directory. All people who just downloading zip won't have this issue.
