Clare
[sTATUS: LOGGED - IN PROGRESS] Rain is constant in some areas of the map, particularly the burnt forest near Gravestown, and in and around Perishton.
Eddyjr2008
Unless it jus happens to randomly be raining whenever I go to the burnt forest, I have experienced this. I am currently camped around the "working stiffs" tool store, by Diersville and the big corn farm. I sometimes go to the burnt forest to loot or if an airdrop drops there. It seems to always be raining. I believe it is south of my base, down the road.

Looking forward to this fix, or maybe allowing players to capture the rainwater, if they are going to be wet all the time.
Stephenw92
I've had it all sorts of places, currently I'm in perishton (I think) in navezgane and since day 1 it's been continuously raining but I step outside the boundary and it stops - - - Updated - - - Oh, sorry Clare just seen you mentioned perishton

Yes i hope this gets fixed, i play navesgain 90% of the time and it seems like it also rains 80 percent of the time in all biomes except desert and the maple forest. It rains 100 percent of the time in burnt forest, perishington and the burnt forest. The rain is also much louder in those areas and ive also noticed anytime it rains anywhere , it seems to last for days on end.

MissMuffet
Just wanted to add that I'm having this glitch too when playing on PS4. In the burnt forest and Perishton areas of Navezgane. The constant rain is very annoying and I want to avoid the areas. You can't hear zombies coming up behind. The rain and thunder is louder than the minibike motor & louder than mining. Turning down the ambience volume doesn't really help. As someone else has said, it ruins the immersive experience of the game. I understand it takes time to fix things. Is there a time frame for when this will be fixed? Will it be addressed in the next console patch/update?
MissMuffet
Any update on this issue? And If a fix is done, will it fix the issue in existing Navezgane saves, or, like most issues, will it only be fixed in new games?
Clare
I have not seen any updates on this issue of late. From my experience, because this is just a weather issue, it is highly unlikely that a new save would be required. However I cannot say for certain as it may depend on the source of the issue. Ric Walker
Huh? Is it not intended from IG that it rains constantly in burned Forest because the overheating until they know how to balance the overheat in that biome?

COOKZ-BS10
This didn't fix in the last patch- and I started a new game
MutilatorJuice
This didn't fix in the last patch- and I started a new game You are correct. No fix has been made with this issue as of yet. Burnt biomes are only good for looting. You wouldn't want to live there unless you like your dreams having constant downpours.
Boidster
Funny thing is it rains underground too, sorta. I've got a mine ~30 blocks underground and if I go into one corner of the huge (15K+ iron woo!) excavation - the corner that is under a burned-out zone (random world) - I hear full-volume downpour and thunder. Don't get wet though.
Powered_By_Poi
ive had quite a bit of trouble with the rain coming in too loud. even if i adjust the settings in game it seems the rain sound is a bit overpowering. anyone else experience this? crAZRick
ive had quite a bit of trouble with the rain coming in too loud. even if i adjust the settings in game it seems the rain sound is a bit overpowering. anyone else experience this? while loud rain is very annoying i would suggest to you, that you only use sound effects when you absolutely need to. AND NEVER EVER USE SOUND WHEN IT RAINS. EVER. after following those two things whenever we get a rain storm now it barely even phases us. yea its annoying to have to walk in with no sound. but you also dont lose things like your hearing. its not so much about not playing the game because of a glitch that annoys you. and more so finding out methods to work around that glitch so it annoys you less. darklight666
The whole weather system needs to be fixed or taken out entirely i cant tell you how many times i had issues with either over hesting/being wet even when iam inside my base or being extemely cold it needs to be fixed or taken out they know about this issue and still has done nothing to fix it much like the countless other bugs that people report
Wolf_elmeira
Now common guys removing rain sound? Its true that it is loud and annouying and presistant but removing the sound will kill a mechanic in game Which is covering for a zombies foot steps sound and voice (jump scare in other word) The rain loudness is good but it got a sharp sound that tears through ears its still manageble the major problem is with rain that its consistent and never ending in some biomes Which the thread subject is all about which means the team are aware which is a good thing just give them some time

Rouskei
The weather/Clothing needs to be patched. The weather rn breaks immersion , you get hot for no reason literally constantly. One of the worse parts of this game . Idk who the fck said "hey, lets make iron armor better than a tank top for being in heat", but wow.
Hotstuff5743
My last MP game on the navezgane map i was hunkered down at the bunker in the burnt forest & that's all it did was rain 24/7 & never stopped. I noticed sometimes too up in the North East part of the map in the snow biome that it was always snowing. I quit that map to start a fresh one to get away from the chronic burnt forest rain. jetZeds
Its not the rain that bothers me, its the x10 loudness in these zones that blow your ear drums out while wearing headsets. I don't understand why when it rains in all other biomes, the rain volume is completely fine--yet in burnt biome.... LOUD AND GIVES MIGRAINES. I would totally use this biome if it wasn't for the loudness

I would totally use this biome if it wasn't for the loudness I can attest to that. I had to quit playing the other night cuz I stumbled upon a roaming horde just hrs b4 horde night & the rain & thunder were so loud I was starting to get disoriented on the side of a cliff. Also too even after the recent hotfix which not happy that I had to restart a new RG Map in order to activate I still get endless rain in the Burnt Forest not to mention there was periods of time if I didn't have endless rain I had endless fog. MissMuffet
Are the devs getting anywhere with this bug? - constant rain in areas and audio level of rain too loud. I like having the weather and the weather effects in game. The rain sound effect is too loud and I don't want have to lower overall audio levels, cos what's the point in having all those other sound effects.
