benito82
I haven't had any issues using the web console. server reliability has been great for running 3-5 people and 300 zombies.
Prisma501
I really think CSMM is missing in the OP: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?83207-CSMM-Cloud-hosted-server-manager Cheers
The Hated Crew
I think CSMM should be added also. Not sure why unsupported or outdated stuff is appearing above the likes of Server Tools, and CSMM is not even listed. Also there is some guy who updates Coppi's Additions now, he's kind of a pain, but he does a pretty good job on it overall. It's not really a server manger, but it's nice to have on any server. SylenThunder
Update the list to add CSMM. Will do some more updating later to separate out the managers that are no longer actually updated. (More research than I am able to do right now is required.) As far as I'm aware, the only currently maintained managers are 7DTDRat, Botman, and CSMM. ecv
For the last few months I've been tinkering with a remote botlike server manager. It's not quite ready, but it might already be of interest for some people. It does run just fine, it just never has been tested by any large group of players. So it might not be suitable for high-pop servers. Come have a look ^^ 'official' Discord server -> this is where the updates are posted announcement thread on these forums <- for people who do not like discord chrani-bot on notjustfor.me <- general description and usage chrani-bot on GitHub <- source code There's a development server running the bot, you can find the information on the website ^^

FastBurst
I have to say Botman so for me has been the best solution. @Smegzor - is always updating and making sure we have the newest and best results. I love the fact I can contact him personally if something goes wrong or I find any kind of bugs and he stays on top of it. He just released another update to the program a few hours ago. It's nice to see that after all these years he is still heavily involved in it. One of the things I was really looking for was the "Lobby" feature and protect home/bases when offline so that players wouldn't have to worry about griefers. Last thing a lot of my players want is to build up their bases/Homes to have them raided or destroyed. One of the other best features I seen is his anti-hacking prevention which is in a class all it's own. Getting the Bot setup was a little tricky but was able to get help and get it up and running and now literally handsfree and works like a charm. 100% HIGHLY recommend using Botman. So special S/O to Smegzor for an awesome product and server manager.

CESMOtacon
Updated OP list to current known information. If you find any errors, or have an update, holler. Just a heads up, i'm the creator of the bottom server tool listed. It is updated for A17. I've put dates on the website to show when the last code release was. Please note that not all functionality has been re-tested against A17 but almost all core functionality is working. Phoenix125
I don't know if anyone is using my 7dtdServerUpdateUtility, but I just released a CRITICAL UPDATE! Fixed: SteamCMD update detection by deleting steamcmd cache folder during update checks. Latest version: v1.8.4 (2019-02-02) https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?40902-Server-Managers&p=912180&viewfull=1#post912180 EDIT: 2019-02-04 Updated to v2.0.0: Big update! Major redesign of config file. No more telnet popup windows! Added 3 more "call external script"options for versatility. Lots more! Improved reliability. 2019-02-12 v2.1.2 Added several new features, including: "(Almost Future Proof" option to import 19 existing parameters into new config file after updates, if fails to boot 3 times. (The Fun Pimps changed the serverconfig.xml when going from Alpha 17.1 to Alpha 17.2 which caused failures. The "(Almost) Future Proof" option should accommodate most updates.) Prior updates: v2.1.4 Fixed undefined variable error. v2.1.3 Fixed reboot loop. 2019-02-20 v2.1.5 Fixed Line 9242 Error.

marquisor
I'm pretty new to 7 Days to Die and we wanna run our own Dedicated Server on Linux. In first post there are some managers listed, but not for recent A18 release. Are they just compatible (if at least A17 compatible) or what to choose? StallionFire
Is there a way to Auto Kick a player who is AFK for a long period of time. Like if someone walks away or falls asleep at there keyboard. We have a player that goes AFK when nobody else is on and I noticed like 3 hoard nights have passed. I want to be able to have Rat or the actual game kick a player who is AFK for more than 20 min. Forgot to mention I am running a dedicated server version 18.3 with RAT tool. It works good so far. Is there such a setting to Kick AFK players? Thank you in advance.

For RAT specific questions, you'll want to ask in this thread: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?38806-7D2D-RAT-Remote-Admin-Tool But as the author of RAT, no it does not currently support this feature. Its actually on my TODO list, but no idea when I'll get to it. If you have someone that is constantly doing this, tell them to stop, or ban them. =)
Smegzor
The botman server manager does have an afk kick feature. I recently updated it with some extra settings and also fixed it as it was discovered that it wasn't working (had a typo). It is definitely working now.
