Hi!

 

I'm sorry if this has been asked before -pretty new to the forum, this post even pops my cherry :) - but is there a way to incorporate some kind of locker system for gearsets to make it easy and fast to switch between them? Some kind of gear-exclusive storage system that allows you to change your current clothes and toolbelt with the ones in the "locker" with the click of a button?

A swift shift from light gear/tools/modestly armed into heavy armor/armed to teeth and prepared for kick ass (give or receive) when hoard night approaches (or a horde or future bandits or even more future aliens stumble upon your base) would seem a very handy option to me.

 

Love the game btw, 18 is so close now that the waiting gets the hardest :) hyped!!

I would like a change in the experience system. Since the new A18 skill tree system is more balanced...

1. Scrap skill points and use an experience bar for each skill.

 

2. Instead of earning skill points when you level up, you can spend Core XP (the XP that used to level you up) to fill the remaining XP gap on a skill. (i.e. you have 1300 Core XP and need 500XP to get the next level of Living off the Land, you then spend core XP level up that perk and now have 800 Core XP left over)

 

3. You also earn XP in a skill by using it. (i.e. the more often you sprint the more XP you earn for reduced stamina use while sprinting) or (Mining increases Miner 69er and Mother Lode XP). As mentioned in my second bullet, Core XP is used to assist in earning perks if you do not have time to mine or farm (farming is the perfect example as you could increase your farm output without having to farm to earn that XP while your crops are growing)

 

4. I do not know the perfect balance of this XP gain. It could be Core XP + XP in that skill It could be 75% goes to Core, 25% goes to that skill. That would require some testing.

 

What do you guys think of this idea?

Just working beds, sleeping bag and etc for the rest and time shifting. In some times I just do nothing at night. How I can spent this time quickly? I can't. Except dm in console.

Would be nice set time for a sleep, or just "sleep until sun rising". Of corse in this time anything bad for player (zombies knocking in a door, house block damage, or just alarm is ringing), should waking up the player. Except zombie rising events (each 7 days, but not when player wait zombies at 7 night, and thay came early or after that day (you intro this world setting in 17a) :)

My ultimate wish list for the ultimate game!

 

-visuals-

 

1st person shadow cast!

- this one if anything!

- makes things much more immersive

- if added zombies could be alerted by moving shadows

- awareness of shadow in PvP situations)

 

First person body

- its just nice to see!

 

Pistol Held farther from body

- just feels too close and low

- its nice to see a little arm

 

Random Zombie Variance

- clothing or clothing color randomly selected

- skin tint

- random zombie faces

- size variant

 

Death Animations have chance

- its nice to see zombies immediately ragdoll out after a club or shot to the head

 

Roads

-Terrain tapers off road instead of hard cuts up or down

-road varies in width

-Dirt roads have more random curves

 

Frozen lakes in snow biome

-one layer of ice

-cut a hole with a pic or axe to get water

 

Dirt texture under water sources

JUNK TURRET NEEDS A BATTERY

- makes it less OP in game

 

Zombie Death Sounds

- No Zombie Death Sound after decapitation

- random change of playing (always makes you think there is another close by!)

 

Player Zombie

- a few hours after death player body becomes a zombie

- kill to retrieve cloths and, or pack (items can be grabbed before player body "turns undead")

- looks like your character but green skin or something

 

Shoot through half broken doors

 

Leg sprain and break happen from shorter heights

- makes climbing more dangerous

- would feel more realistic

- sprain @4,8 blocks (very low chance @4 block)

- break @7,11 blocks (low chance @7 blocks, will still sprain) (leg breaks have chance to cause bleeding)

- death @12+

 

Heat from placed torches

- starts small, multiplies by quantity placed

 

Spreading fire

- fire spreads to wood blocks, trees, grass

- determined by wind direction

- put fire out with bucket, or punching (maybe a murky water cannon for base defense)

- fire that burn long enough result in burned forest (normal forest will grow back after a week

- ex: Farcry 2

 

Bursting though doors

- knocks zombies back

- stun

- sprint and E

 

Diving and Floating cost stamina

- not much stamina loss, but if it runs out you can ascend

 

Coyotes only attack in packs

- 1 coyote will flea to others

 

Rabbits can dig to hide

- rabbits will can 2 block down and 2 over to hide

- dig them out with a shovel

 

Foggy nights

- extra low distance visibility

 

Fog particles

- wisps of fog by by terrain

Zombie Rage grenade!

- throw at players to attract zombies

- throw at zombie to send them into rage mode

- maybe use rotting flesh, meat, gunpowder, acid, and a can to craft

 

RC Cars

- scope out areas

- fits through 1 block space

- car stops after certain block range

- runs on battery

- can wake up sleepers if too close

- would work really well with CCTV! (first person animation is holding a screen! See zeds walking up on ya!)

 

More 9mm pistols

- its nice to see variant

- so many RL pistols that take 9mm

- maybe a mac 10

 

More 7.62mm guns

- single shot, 20 round clip rifle

- 3 shot rifle

- lever action rifle

 

Combat Shotgun

- nice addition for a high level semi auto shot gun

- i feel like this would really reinforce the ranked items (ex: primitive bow, wood bow, compound bow)

 

Flamethrower

- gas and burn baby!

 

Fire Proof Suit

- throw molotovs with now fear!

- fire wears down item like armor

- no effect when broken

 

Standard Car

- so many cars to scrap and loot so we should be able to build one

 

Slingshot

- distract zombies with stone from a further distance

- maybe a high quality slingshot that can throw grenades farther

 

Metal Bat

- forged steel to craft

 

Bear Trap

-forged iron to craft

Gated Ladder

- keep zombies and people from immediately climbing ladders

- could also be used for larger POI's

I like the ideas, especially the fishing, but would bait also be worms found in the earth, or near water sources?

 

1. Fishing..dig dirt...have a tiny chance to find a worm..simple...or kill a zombie and have maggots in their loot bag..either one would work. But with that you need some sort of water based threat.

2. Working electric..maybe a wind turbine

3. Water...boats

4. Ability to turn off underground mining and increase zombie count

5. Airport Poi

6. Working elevator system..winch or motor

7. A real firemans helmet in game.

Are the devs ever going to give us NPCs that follow the player and can aid the player in survival via fighting zombies,sharing gear and gaurding bases?

 

Currently using DMT NPCs mod,and as much as i love this game i would find it difficult to play it without those NCs.

I lurk mostly but I thought I would throw in my two cents:

 

More achievements to be unlocked. I would love one for destroying a building or squishing zeds and/or animals with a vehicle.

Fruit and nut trees to harvest, plant and use for more recipes. i.e. making oil from nuts.

Sidecar mod for the motorcycle and plow mod for the 4x4.

Radios that play random clips or music.

Burnt zombies that can go feral or irradiated.

A cannon. If we can have blunderbusses then why not a cannon? Also artillery and mortars.

Farm animals. Imagine getting gored by a pissed off zombie bull. Or raising one for base defense.

And of course more zombie varieties.

Some things I would not mind seeing later on, this is just me though to my knowledge lol

1. Flintlock Pistol and Rifle (We already have a blunderbus)

2. Skill books to unlock specific guns just like how we get a baseball bat

3. Legendary Vehicles with varied stats

4. Definitely More Food Varieties

5. More Craftable Lighting Fixtures

6. Glowsticks we can throw to illuminate an area (Maybe Attract Zombies with the light?)

7. Flaregun - Mostly for Multiplayer but it could be fun to shoot at a zombie

8. Power Tools - Such as an automatic wrench for ripping tech stuff apart

9. I hope for working camera monitors.

10. Zombie Animals - Imagine having a zombie rabbit come after you.

11. Feral Mode for Crawler - Jumps up and runs at you while active

12. Maybe more special infected that show at higher game stages (Reviver, Male Doctor)

Currently working on a list of some of the higher demanding Pimp Dreams that gamers would like to see introduced into the game that can be looked at by The Fun Pimps.

 

Please keep in mind that I went to some of the higher replied threads. I did not look on every page and I did not look on every topic. If you think something should be added, It's best to make a topic for that suggestion, get the backing from the community then I can edit the list. Please let's not try to clutter this list with suggestions and let's keep it for the "List that gets submitted). If the community backs your topic then I will update this list to show off to The Fun Pimps Team.

- Include the ability to Fish

(Crafting of required tools, Ability to catch and harvest Fish, Forge for bait)

- Include the ability to craft and place traps that over time will catch animals which we can harvest

*Ability to edit the serverconfig file more without being placed in the modded section

(Example: Lootrespawndelay, Airdropfrequency, Map radius etc)

 

*Admins set of tools

- Tools that admins can use to open chest of any gamer, clear blocks faster, unlock doors, better inspection of players by the admins, etc

- Traveling can be a pain sometimes. The ability to right click on the map and select fast travel for admins or players with given permissions

- Wider variety of console commands. (Example of one command is to generate a .png or .jpg of a world)

 

Weapons and Tools

 

*Tools to better remove larger amounts of grass or harvesting plants and/or seeds.

*More accessory and types for weapons

 

 

Zombies

 

- Wider variety of Zombies

(Water logged Zombies, Cave lurkers, Postman Zombies and many other styles with loot that match their type.)

*Ability to have gamers download/servers upload custom icons for custom items to eliminate the need for external downloads.

*Game-play Styles

- Ability for Modders to write different games styles. For example: Capture the base, Protective mod where hordes of zombies attack on a small scale then grow to larger and harder, etc)

- More mineral types

Game settings

- adjustable FOV (field of view) between 50-90 or even 120 degrees

 

Server Options

- optional revealed/discovered map in gameplay settings

- optional maxed out/unlocked perks in gameplay settings

 

- invited friends should spawn in near proximity after joining the player

>spawning 2.5 miles apart day 1 simply doesn't work for me xd<

 

New items and weapons

- 3 burst 5.56 ammo type weapons like M4/M16A4 or even M249SAW light machine gun

- flaregun that could draw away the attention of zombies or set them on fire

 

- glowsticks if not craftable could be still a part of the environment

- craftable green laser alongside red laser

 

New vehicles

- 2 seat motorcycle, 2 seat quad, 4 seats 4x4 truck, electric, hybrid or even vehicles run on hydrogen c_0 - fuel that solves all problems

 

Environment

- fish if not interactive as the object could be still a part of the foliage/environment

- more dynamic weather, rainstorm or any heavy weather

- tweakable weather - sunny, cloudy, foggy, rainy, stormy and the percentage based on hour/week duration times

- more sounds like thunders in a distance, light/heavy rain sounds, the sound of the wind, the rustle of trees and grass

 

Faction Wars

Missions in which players would be allowed to capture NPCs permanent base(s), eliminate NPCs, escort NPCs from one point to another, deliver a package from one NPC to another NPC, provide items to NPCs for Dukes. The list goes on...

 

Futuristic Stuff that may not fit the current game

- ultimate gun called Railgun rifle that could deal well against bigger prey as well as thin/wooden walls, vehicles, etc.

- windmill farms producing electricity after the apocalypse

- emp grenades/explosives/devices emitting microwaves that could potentially disable/paralyze systems in a well-guarded base with turrets/cameras/electric fences and other systems etc.

im going to just say "SOME" of my ideas

 

and this is for Weapons , weapon mods and armor

 

 

Weapons (all types)

 

-M4/combat rifle: ( Note: A19 may add one like this but...) this is a tier 3 rifle and is a 3 shot burst and is better then the AK but it's less durable

 

-Combat pistol: looks like a glock and has a 3 shot burst and has much more ammo the the normal pistol.

 

-Combat Shotgun: a Gun that looks like a AA-12 and it has 10 shots and is full auto. the parts are RARE to find and its not cheap to make.

 

-50.cal rifle: this has a special ammo "50.cal rounds" and "50.cal HE rounds" ammo is hard to make but wrecks stuff and can go through concrete. the HE round is like a Pipe bomb but ranged!

 

-Dart rifle: uses iron darts and is a good stealth weapon, it has a Very nice AP ability and can hold 12 darts, need a book to craft

 

-Blunderbuster: this makeshift shotgun has 4 barrels and a large funnel for pouring Blunderbuss rounds in it, and a Opening in the back for shotgun shells, it fires all barrels at once and almost anything that is in front of it will be "meat mist"

 

-Compact grenade launcher: a single shot grenade launcher uses "grenade shells" and "incendiary grenade shells" and they are like a long range contact grenade but with more frag on it.

 

-Grenade launcher: this 6 shot grenade launcher is a tier 2 for Explosives weapons. and can tier hordes up.

 

-Rail-Gun: not like the one people think. this long rifle is air powered and has a battery hooked up to it to boost the shot, made by white river this is a weapon you can buy or get the blueprint for and uses Junk turret ammo. note: its very hard to make.

 

-Thermite: acts like a molotov but makes a large ball of fire and it melts zombies and destroys armor

 

-Flashbang: this is both a PVE and PVE weapon, it blinds player but if zombies are hit with it they become hostile to each other for around 30 secs

 

-Swords: This melee weapon class has the stone one , iron and then the one learned from a book that is steel, they have a nice dismember and bleed but they work great lightly armed enemies

 

-Shields: this class of "weapons" is both for offensive and defensive. you can either have a one-handed weapon or just uses the shield. it can block a "said amount of zombies" and can bash them with the shield or with a one-handed weapon, you can block with the shield and uses a heavy attack for your weapon, you have , wood , iron , and steel

 

-Tomahawks: these weapons are like spears wear there both for range and melee, but if you want to throw them you need to hold both attack buttons, they have A very Nice AP ability and can cut through it like butter. there's stone , iron and steel.

 

Armor

 

Plastic: looks like armor that people who rides dirt bikes, and is tier 2 for light armor, and needs to unlock a workbench to make

 

SWAT gear: this armor looks more Heavy and compacted then military armor and the swat helmet has a bullet proof glass plate on the face, the armor is nearly bulletproof but AP rounds or tomahawks can go through it

 

Mods

 

-Repeating Crossbow mod: this is a mod for crossbows that add some parts to make it look like a "repeating crossbow" and can hold 5 shots but can only use 1 explosive or fire arrow at once but for normal arrows you can hold 5

 

-Hunting double barrel mod: makes the Barrel for the double barrel longer so more range!

 

-Jungle mag: increases Reload speed!

 

-Hunting rifle strip clips: ammo by 4

 

-Diamond Armor pad: increases protection by 5

 

-bow reflex sight: adds a sight to a normal bow!

 

-Pull hook: faster draw speed for bows

 

-Junker/junk turret Air compressor: Adds a Charge ability (like a bow) and dose Penetration and more damage

 

-Junker Ammo funnel: Adds a new ammo loader that allows you to use new ammo from glass , darts , arrow heads and more!

 

-junker Heater mod: Adds a mod for the barrel that has a 75% of setting stuff on fire when shooting (lowers durability though)

 

-Junker Gatling mod: adds a old fashion Gatling barrel that spins at a Ok rate and fires full auto. (cant have this with some other mods though)

 

-Stun baton Shock barbed wire: Adds bleed

 

-Stun baton Charger: Slowly charges when not used

 

-Stun baton Coiler: can store Power for a Very Strong Zap!

 

-Knuckles Lead weights: adds more damage and causes Blunt force trauma

 

-Knuckles Gauntlet Mod: reinforce the things into a makeshift gauntlet's that are much better but heavier to uses

 

-Spear Trident Mod: Adds 2 Knives that are bolted together and deal more Bleed and 2xs melee damage

 

-Spear Javelin mod: Adds more length for melee and MUCH FARTHER RANGE!

 

-Sledge hammer Lead Weight: Slower attack BUT 2xs damage

 

-Sledge mallet mod: Makes it lighter and faster for the cost of damage

 

-knife Cleaver mod: Adds more Decapitation and can harvest meat better

 

-knife or machete Stealth mod: makes the blade darker and dose 5xs damage when in you sneak attack and makes you harder to see

 

-Sword Sharpen blade mod: increases speed and damage

 

-Sword Bear teeth mod: adds a strong Bleed for the cost of durability and raw damage

 

- Shield Barbed mod: adds bleed to bash and if zeds attack it they have a 50% chance of getting bleed

 

- Shock shield mod: Adds a Shocking effect and if zeds attack it they have a 50% chance of getting ZAPPED!

 

-tomahawk Light frame: Makes throwing them MUCH easyer

 

-Tomahawk Rope mod: if you miss you attack it will come back to you due to a rope on the end. (lowers range a lot , and durability)

I’d like to see a book that when read teaches the player to be able to shoot fire balls, electric and ice balls from his hands which then sets the zombie on fire, electric buzzing round them or freezes / slows zombie down. Then have it with a cool down time or another kind of energy bar.

Can we have a dumbwaiter block with connecting block, vertical only and horizontal only types in a "R" menu. Making every dumbwaiter block linked by connection tunnel blocks share one inventory. Make the connecting blocks have an [if] check so you can't combine two block inventories with items, with a simple used/not used check so you can't use a connecting block for horizontal and vertical. The connecting block would be the same as an iron frame with 1 upgrade. the dumbwaiter would be heavy and need a lot of support with a fiber rope or an upgrade to steel for more inventory space.

How about a mod for the 4x4 where you can put on a turret and a player can use it so it goes up to three players in the car, the reason for that is because me and 2 friends i play with we always use alot of gas because we can't use one car for all 3

I do wonder what the high demand list would look like if they updated it now. Does anybody know if anything other than what's already listed is being requested a lot?

 

From what I can tell this hasn't been updated in quite some time, the idea of this list was really good, and I would have liked to see someone more active possibly take over lol, mainly because half of the list has already been implemented in the game, but no list update. Very good idea in theory if it was managed well.

 

 

 

While we are on the topic ive made a list but here ill keep it simple, its all mainly new items to craft.

 

 

 

Player crafting:

-------------

I seen someone mention working escalator lifts, I would love to see that, and ziplines (we had them in creative menu at one stage)

 

String lights, neon signs and Lightboxes for signs (basically a block that looks like its back lit, then you can put metal signs on it to customize it however you please)

 

More block shape options (like the round/curved block ect.)

 

Window block shape options (for different window, window frames, blinds, ect)

 

Electrical furniture with block shape options. (like the metal furniture but for fridges, computers, microwaves, coffee machines, ect)

 

 

In game items:

Parachute so when i accidentally eject myself from my gyro i dont have to helplessly and awkwardly watch myself fall to my inevitable fate

 

Small boat

 

Fishing rod along with the mechanics that have previously been mentioned

 

Animals traps and ability to breed/farm them also previously mentioned.

 

Maybe some more traps like a flame thrower.

 

 

Other than that I love the little surprises we get in each alpha, when the gyro came out it was mind blowing, now the new drone turret, they have some wicked ideas, ive always had faith!

Hi,

On the topic of weapons and tools

 

* Tools to better remove larger amounts of grass or harvesting plants and / or seeds.

* More accessory and types for weapons

 

What I really miss is a normal gas mask!

Which is used like a scarf.

Then you can put on a military helmet.

And maybe an eye patch :D

Hello Fun Pimps,

 

When you will release:

 

The sinked sub on game?

 

The diving suit? ( to explore beneath water and search sinked containers such as sinked boat or a pretrol boat)

 

The oxigen tanks for the diving suit, also the portable big light bigger than the lantern that it is above the table of some buildings ?

 

The 2 or 3 camouflages, one of them is leafs ( because zombies will get more smarter so it will need the camouflage system)?

The first camouflage can it be using, clay - (Mud) and grass ( leaves) and perhaps a little wood. Notice the zombies will be more smarter and if the see player they can run into, then it would be necessary the camouflage sistem to be more undetectable to zombies. The Second Camouflage will use leather, scrap metal, plastic, cloth and 2 or 3 special pieces. The third Camouflage will use more expensive things.

 

 

The motocross bike for 2 players ? (The red or orange motocross similar like the terminator 2 when the boy is escaping from T1000 wich is driving a truck) Position of the players, one drives and another on the back and the player can shoots his own weapon - Similar like the buggy but buggy has a minigun or heavy machine gun attached on the roof of the buggy)

 

The buggy for 2 players ? (One who drives and on the back of the player the second player can maneuver the minigun or machine gun wich is attached on the roof top of the buggy and can fire the machine gun)

The new armour for buggy? There is a buggy without armour and the person can choose to have upgradble armour - Normally it will be a skinny buggy ( similar to the rally cars inside with some bars to protect car to flip out)

 

The minigun? You can translate the language of an auger and adapt for the minigun, dont forget the battery to add ...

 

The minigun attached on the roof of the buggy?

 

The van like the A-Team for 4 players ? There is an old TV SERIE "Who's the Boss" with the actor Tony Danza - The Van can it be white and transport at maximum 4 players including the driver.

 

 

The water system piping to drain water from lakes to the base? Water pump dont forget to improve that.

 

Dont Forget the Caravan similar to a mobile HQ and the Semi Truck.
