Stacking ammo and other items

Since you already have a stacking of materials such as stone, clay, oil shale, etc.... when you collect it. Could you please add the option to do the same with ammo and other items you can craft in stack bulk as well? You can make it in boxes or stacks such as gas but you can't take a stack of loose rounds and items that you collected and put it into a box for tighter storage. Is this something you can add easily or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Am pretty sure I have seen some mods out there that allow that.
