Is it me or are there more evil eye zombies in A21?

At least in PoIs.  Not so much in the wild or up the street.  But PoIs seem to have 2 or 3 at the loot room or near.

 

Mid size town, forest biome, housing mostly.

You mean ferals? Yeah, I feel like they are much more common now, and earlier as well.

I don't like it, I've never liked them. I set them to walk.

Pretty sure there are more. I set my  difficulty up, and thought it was that, but talking to some other friends that play, they confirmed ferals are now present in POIs from day one, even on default difficulty.

Some POIs have fixed zombies. One of the army camps for example will always have a group of radiated soldier zombies in the loot room no matter what gamestage you're at (to be fair that one is a T4 POI though)

Yeah, there's a T3 that I often like to live in (I can't recall the name, but it's a fair-sized house with a wall around it) and there's a zombie in the basement that always used to be a biker or soldier, and when I tried to clear it on Day 1 in my last playthrough, there was a feral there instead that killed me.

I've noticed an uptick in ferals pretty much everywhere since A20, and have definitely felt another uptick in A21.

Even the regular little old houses in towns have them now, it seems.  Is okay, it definitely created some fecal matter moments the first few days.
