beerzombie
Instead of your backpack/toolbelt just dropping to the ground after death, why not have your corpse spawn as a buffed zombie that looks like the player. The zombie must be killed to get your inventory back. It would be fun in multiplayer too, having your friend come after you as a zombie if he dies. =Tattoo=
Yes and if players dropped a corpse we could have cannibalism as well, for those really naughty bandit players!
pharen
Only if it can be toggled on/off. It doesn't seem like much fun for when you first start a game. Maybe have it as a percentage chance.
Walrus-I-Am
Or near by zombies can pickup your items. But since minecraft already does that, I do like the idea of having to hunt yourself down for the items. Especially if he is using your last held item as a weapon. He could swat you with your gun, or chase you with the auger/chainsaw.
Faoron
I like this idea, but I agree that it needs to be a configurable setting.
