OneManStanding
This never happened in A20 or A19 - I knew when a zombie had gone down for good and when it was going to get back up again. But in A21 I swear a number of zombies are making their typical death noises and ragdolls ... and then getting back up and coming at me from behind now I've walked passed. I've noticed it here and there in A21 as we've been playing, but we're now on to high-tier buildings like the prison and villa, there are LOTS of zombies and I'm noticing it a lot more. I'm not complaining especially, just wondering if anyone else is noticing this or if it's just me.
theFlu
Sometimes audios are a bit bugged for me, but usually that means having no sounds. Can't remember getting extra death sounds this far. I'm SP thou, in MP I wouldn't be surprised if there are moar bugs..
meganoth
I may have had the same occuring. I remember one time where I was sure a zombie was dead. I turned around and seconds later he hit me from behind. But I may have just been confused.
NekoPawtato
I generally keep an eye on whether I got xp from them to make sure they are dead-dead. You mentioned the prison, one of the prisons actually does have triggers that will spawn zombies behind you, in areas that you've already cleared (it's a new mechanic/design in A21 from what I understand), so perhaps that could add to the confusion?
