No zombiespawns within claimed area's

I've seen several people on the forum being annoyed by the fact that zombies spawn in or on top of bases you've built, and that the limited protected area around the bedroll isn't enouph to cover this. Several people (under whom myself) have expressed the desire for blocks that prevent spawning, especially claimblocks, in the general chat and other discussions with zombie-spawning as theme. Yet, I hadn't seen this particular idea (the one of claimblocks preventing to let zombies spawn within their area) in the pimpdream section yet. That's why I am posting this here right now. So the basic idea is the following: You place a claimblock, and with that claim an area for yourself to built on (claimarea size can be set in the server settings by the host). Within the claimed area, no living or undead thing will spawn (so no zombies, rabbits, deers, etc). This works for EVERY claimblock that you place. Now I already know people wil have complaints about players placing claimblocks everywhere to claim a huge area for a base, or just to troll so that no zombs will spawn. To begin with the last, there are (atm at least) more players that would like a zombie-free base than players that abuse claimblocks, which makes this democraticly seen an invalid argument since the major of the people would benifit from this idea. As a second, I do not see why players that claim huge area's for a base would have a disadvantage of this. Althrough it can be annoying for players living nearby, the player that lives in the large base will probably be happy that zombies and animals do not spawn everywhere within his/her dwell. And if he/she wants zombies to spawn inside (when you have a courtyard for example) then you just remove the claimblocks there. I can type a lot more about this idea, but I think you guys got the main line of it. Please place any comments regarding this idea, support and disagreeings in this topic. I will try to help and answer where and what I can.
They still should make claim blocks do something in single player or make single player worlds not able to get them.
Yeah they could be omitted, but it probably a minor thing really. I would not mind a block that could be placed filled with Zombie Repellant. It does not prevent zombies from chasing you into the area, instead it just keeps them from spawning in that area.
In a recent blog post they say they are going to have it so when you clear and area of zombies, it will remain cleared for a few days. Of course it also applies the game animals. Also they said roving hordes are not covered, just the spawns in an area.
Wel, problem with this is that it doesn't solve the fact of zombies spawning on top of your base. When you got a large base, you probably want to stay there for a while (especially in MP). This means that when the cleanarea-timer has passed, zombies will once again spawn everywhere (including in and on top of your base) while you are still using it. Pretty annoying, especially if the spawn on places that you cannot search so that you can't do anything about them getting bezerk.

No zombies spawning in claimed areas are fine by me. It seems that once claimed those zombies climb to the top and break on through anyways, so they do not need to spawn there since spawning around still grants them access over time anyways unless fought off. Zombies can still attack your base and such, but will no longer spawn in and/or on top of ur base (as long as it is claimed, that is)
