Purple buildings and town

Tried playing the update today and when I started I saw purple in the distance. When getting closer to the purple it turned into a building. Same goes for any town I would get close too and then the game crashes. Any one else experience this? Also unable to join multi player server insta crash when loading in!

You would need to provide a log as explained in the sticky post for anyone to help.

I am having the same issue as described by SupaGir.  @Vampirenostra what do you mean by using metal?

Would recommend looking into this comment here about removing "-force-feature-level-10-0" from the launcher options

In the launcher you've got an option to pick the Renderer. There are 2 options - GL Core and Metal. The first one is say Win machines the other one is Mac/Linux
