the dead bodies of zombies quickly disappear

Всем привет. Может кто-нибудь подскажет, есть ли у разработчиков планы сделать так, чтобы трупы зомби дольше лежали на земле и не исчезали так быстро? Раньше, если не ошибаюсь, из них даже можно было извлекать тухлое мясо и их тела действительно пригодились. Теперь они исчезают очень быстро и очень неприятно. Кто-нибудь может сказать мне, есть ли какой-нибудь мод для зомби, чтобы хотя бы полежать на земле несколько минут?

They used to hang around, but were removed because the extra entities caused quite a bit of latency on the server or MP host. Eventually I'm sure this could be re-visited some after optimization, but currently the only purpose of the dead zed is visibility of the kill. There is nothing to gain from leaving the bodies around, and quite a bit to lose.

Maybe they could add some kind of decay animation, or have them disappear in a bloody puff of mist. Something other than having just pop out of existence

I'm rather fond of the body cleanup detail.   They are fast, discreet, and I've never actually seen them work.  10/10 Would recommend to a friend.
