DawnCaster
Greetings. I am having an issue with joining into our friends server. We've played together for quite some time, around 40 hours or so and then all of a sudden one day I couldn't join at all. Everytime I tried to join, the console popped up with the red error message "EXC NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" Today we tried to create a completely new server after few months of not playing, everyone can join without an issue except me, I still have the same error. I've tried to play singleplayer and everything works there.I've already tried:- Deleting save files - Deleting world files - Veryfing integrity of game files - Complete reinstall of the game - Launching the game in Launcher and using it's tools to clean all the game's files - Turning off anticheatLogs: Client: https://pastebin.com/Y28qcf9k Server: https://pastebin.com/ce9SwjfW Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/GntjEJO
Beelzybub
Your player profile on the server is corrupt. On the server, delete your 3 player files from the "Player" folder. If "DawnCaster" is the player, then the eos # to delete is "EOS_0002306cddf8494d806b39ceeed16e93"
DawnCaster
Hello and thanks alot for helping me. No idea how you knew from those texts that my character was corrupted, but you are a genius for me. Your help worked. Thanks once more for your help and wish you a nice day.
lola777
Hello, can you help me? I have exactly the same problem on my server. I made a server on Linux and I can't find or store user profiles. (on the client side I have really tried all of them so I must necessarily delete some chosen ones on the server side but impossible to find the right file) I have two players on my server. they no longer manage to connect with the same error. Beelzybub
Your log file will show the path to your saves on the server. The default for a Debian distro is .local. (a hidden folder).
