Stuck at Epic Online Services Login screen

Everytime I boot up the game it starts loading and then gets to the epic online services login screen and I get the error "Could not fully initialize Epic Online Services: Uknown issue, please report on the forums: UnexpectedError."

Does anyone know of way to fix this?

Same here. I was playing an hr and a half ago, but had to go get groceries for dinner. Now i keep getting the same. Ive rolled to a previous version. Ive restarted my computer. nothing.

Same here, was playing and had to exit briefly. 

I rebooted and no change.  Did the flush and still have it.

Just happening to me too now, I was able to run the game yesterday.

I found a work around. When launching form Steam, choose "Show game launcher" and deselect "Use EasyAntiCheat (EAC)"

 

It let me launch the game and everything came up normal. Not sure if its because of my mods, but they are all KhaineGB's, so i doubt it is the mods.

I did nothing and just now it worked.  launched from desktop icon.

Same here. Epic restart done, computer restart done, so it's 100% TFP's fault. Wakey, wakey, guys, your hamster died.

This game is so damn janky... But i love it anyway 😂

 

Im guessing EoS was having issues on their end, because mine is now working even with EAC active...

i had the same problem today

solution:

go to the 7days to die directory, go in directory EASYANTICHEAT

run the unistall.bat

then

run the install.bat

then restart computer

when 7 days starts, the error will appear 1 sek, then its gone and u can play

If we are getting a bunch of people with this error all of a sudden, it may be a recent update at Epic Online Services that's the issue especially of some of you can start the game again by doing nothing meaning that they fixed the issue. Epic Online Services is not owned/run by tfp it's a different company. Another thing to try in this situation is to set up exclusions in your antivirus software for 7 Days game and saves folders. Some antivirus software block that connection to Epic Online Services.

I already had an exception and still had the issue.  I checked it when this happened and it was still active.  Probably something went down at Epic Online.
