Cleared Hospital On Day One

Killed everything. Hit last roof mob just before nightfall. And that’s after doing the first trader quest, lol.

Haven’t played in a while, so not sure if anyone found this early game build before. I usually play fists. Tried a pure DPS sledge build and it’s WAY OVERPOWERED.

First points I spent on,

3/10 Strength (just spent 2)

2/4   Sexual Tyrannosaurus

Did one quest and found I was over powered. So thought I’d try a quick hospital run at 1600. Entered the hospital with a t1 stone sledge with weighted head mod. And if I was low on stamina I had a t1 club ready to clean up, as it benefits from the points in strength also. (And I think stamina from sexosaurus)

Then I put the next point in Sexual Tyrannosaurus ASAP, early half way through hospital. Which gave me,

5/10 Strength

3/4 Sexosaurus.

Then I put last point into Sledge. But I didn’t bring enough plant fibers to upgrade the sledge, so didn’t really notice a difference. Maybe a few more head pops.

Most normal mobs died on first power shot to the head. Or if they survived I smack em with the club, unless I had lots of stamina.

The dog near the top survived the power hit straight to the face. So maybe shoot him with an arrow first.

This build is honestly the strongest I’ve played early game. I played right through to horde night. Fought them mostly on the street. But had to rest on mini towers to recover stamina, quite often. Something I don’t have to do with fists. So I ended up using guns in between just to keep a high kill count. It’s only on horde  night that fists has a clear advantage in street fighting.

There’s a simple bird strategy too. You’ll need it at the top when about 7-8 swarm at once. Just walk backwards, and just before they hit you, side step while walking on an angle. Walking on the angle let’s you walk faster than walking straight back or just sideways. Also they have a short cool-down on their attack. So when they miss, they can’t attack you again for a couple seconds, even if they are right in your face. Which gives you ample time to line up a smack to the beak.

If this isn’t all that well known, then let me know and I’ll record a fresh hospital run, day one clear. Or give it a go, it’s a lot of fun. Just try to get a mod in your sledge from the first quest, or buy one and it should be easy.

Did another run for fun. This time I didn't go to the trader first. Just ment I had to use the club a bit more, as i didnt have a weapon mod this time. Was slower until I got some more points in strength.

Used the same build, except this time I brought some plant fibres for the t2 sledge upgrade.

I got hungry halfway through last mob, as I didn't look for food.

Finished by 17:40. GG.

Recorded a run. I'll edit and upload tonight.

I decided to clear the skyscraper on day two. Finished it by 1940. I swear there's more ferals than normal, this early. My DPS was just high enough to kill 3-4. But there's bigger mobs where I had to spray and pray until my stamina built up again.

I would have finished earlier but I sprained my leg jumping off the hospital. And then I fell off near the top of the skyscraper lol. Patched up, took some roids and finished the run.

I ended up with,

7/10 strength

4/5 Sledge

3/4 Sexual Tyrannosaurus

And two points to spare. I'm thinking of jumping in the agility tree if I keep playing. And go for pain tolerance as I don't like heavy armor, it's too slow for my playstyle.

It’s doable with spears too.

I tried way back with my favourite weapon, fists. Took two days. But I’m thinking I could do it now… maybe.

Ill give it a go and upload tomorrow.

Entered hospital with spears at 1534. Fought top two floors at night.
