I'm guessing, but maybe the player's profile is corrupted. You could delete it then, if they can connect,

you can give them back their lost xp with the givexp command.

Another thing to try is to teleport them to you while they are logging on.

Can you post his entire log using pastebin.com as well as the whole server log?
