Strange Bug

Every time I go off to the trader in the forest biome. I get this bug where, as soon as I press exit vehicle I end up stuck on the top of it while its still traveling. I cannot get off the vehicle unless I quit the game. When I start the game again I loose my entire toolbelt.

 

I tried building a brand new minibike but its is the same thing

Hey man, I've just had this exact problem yesterday on the windows Xbox version of seven days,, except a little different. I was flying on my paramotor when I got teleported to my bike that vanished after the game closed several days earlier. After that I went into the general direction of my paramotor and I teleported back onto it. However, I was stuck in first person mode and I was unable to move and the game crashed. When I got back on my entire hotbar inventory disappeared and it was horde night.  I'm also trying to figure out what is going on because it's incredibly frustrating. I think this bug is fairly common and has been going on for a while.

I thought is was just me. Thanks for replying.

 

I would think nothing of it, if I did not get so far in the game and did not like the game so much.

 

I spawned a new set of vehicles because the game crashed and I lost them, but I made a new minibike and put the rest in storage and the same thing happened.

 

I may make a video of it and show the developers what we are talking about, but I really think for me, the game is dead at this point.

Yeah, I'm not sure. It's pretty disheartening for me because I've spent about 112 in game days in seven days which translates to about 179.2 hours of gameplay. If you look around online, you'll find people on reddit and steam who've complained about this issue for some time, many years in fact.

I could not imagine 179 hours and this BS, I'm sorry this happened to you.

 

I think that this bug is unfixable, so I guess were screwed on this, sorry to say.

Do you seem to have this happen at a specific point? I have this problem for now at a specific point and I got back in the game by placing my toolbelt content into the vehicle and restarting the game from a saved folder.

 

I know this does not help on an Xbox, I never had an Xbox so I can not say, but maybe you can find a way to save the game and make a backup copy of the save and then try what I did.

 

I may be in for more surprises, but I like the game too much and will save the save folder as needed and continue on.

I'm not actually on the xbox, but the xbox app on pc so I might be able to work around it.
