Fishing/Animal Husbandry Addition

Many of my friends and I have talked about how adding fishing and animal husbandry to the game would feel much more "survivalist" so you can control your food sources more and have more aspects to focus on. On a separate note, it would be nice if the dyes were more visible (vibrant).

 

Fishing: 

- Craft rods, mods

- Forage for bait

- Catch and cook fish

 

Animal Husbandry:

- Chicken coops for eggs & meat

- Maybe feed chickens with corn meal or something similar

- Could also incorporate animal traps for hunting

 

Food:

- Refrigerators for storage would be nice as well (not just beverage coolers).

If you wanna play around with a fishing mod, I have one made for a20. You run around with a bug net and use sound to find bait, then can fish from certain spots or while in water. There's a few different fish that can be caught at different times of day / night and in different biomes.

It's not super in depth as I personally hate recipe modding, so finding a use for a ton of fish isn't something I'm wanting to do, but worth a try!

I'm going to wait for the water overhaul before I want fishing, but it's a nice idea, and an alternate source to traditional hunting

 

 

Somebody made a animal husbandry mod that included a chicken coop, which while nice was broke AF, as in it gave you way too many eggs as it cycled about the same as the farming of crops, and you would get a ton of feathers and eggs, if I knew how I'd tweak it down some or give it a longer timer to produce.
