Burned forests in random maps?

I have made 40 to 50 random maps and i have yet to get any burned forest bioms?  any one with tips to get that biom?

From my understanding, burnt forest was done away with and the features of the wasteland were meant to swallow it up as it were. So its no longer an option at this time.

Burnt Forest has been merged with the wasteland.

Every time you stand right next to a burnt tree you're in the burnt forest.  Hug the burnt forest tree because it probably needs it for being trapped in the wasteland.

I wonder if one could still manually modify the colors in the biomes.png file to get burnt forest. The art assets are still in the game for the sake of Navezgane, so maybe it's just that burnt forest isn't selected by the random world generator. I'm not sure what the long term plans are, though. They may eventually cannibalize the burnt forest, even in Navezgane.

hug a tree.... my mom taught that for 10+ years...(it is a program to help lost hikers before they get lost mostly YA).... i also plant trees in wasteland to reclaim it

You can.  Just open up the biomes.png map you'd like to change in whichever paint program you prefer to use (I use Krita, which is free), and use color #ba00ff / R 186 G 0 B 255 to paint-in sections where you'd like to see the Burnt Forest biome.
