Saved world Disappeared

Had a friend only server and it somehow removed itself from the saved games list, despite it being the only saved game. When I try to create a new world under the same name, it tells me there is already a world under that name. Anytime I got off the game I would pause and hit quit, and then turn off my computer when I was at the main menu - if that means anything for anyone.

That's probably why the save corrupted. You should exit the game every time. Don't shut down while it's still running.

Move your bad save to the desktop from the %appdata%\7DaysToDie\Saves folder, then make a new save with the exact same seed as the bad one.

If you don't remember the seed it's in the "map_info.xml" file in the GeneratedWorlds folder.

Play the game for a minute to see that it works and is the same world. Then copy your main.ttw and player folder from the old save to the new save,

you might recover the save. No promises.
