Refreshed and restarted, we are proud to offer a server with a large random map, PVP/PVE with active admins open to all! DefiantDucky Posted April 27, 2022 Author Share Posted April 27, 2022 (new server update as of 04/27/2022) Server has undergone a fresh restart upon entering alpha 20.4 All mods and zones have been fully updated with our polished content for the server, The rad zone contains crates and supplies of high tier but it will be a fight to retrieve those supplies left behind during the first days of the apocalypse, around in towns are new infected variants, more dangers but equally more content for the players. DefiantDucky Posted June 14, 2022 Author Share Posted June 14, 2022 Just want to say thank you for everyone for sticking with us, we apologize for earlier mistakes with the server and development of things and leaving it so long to fix. As of today the server is working at full performance and is running pretty solid with no errors except one for zombie spawns which is to be expected with custom zeds. The Map was a great design and a great one to full refresh the server and bring it back to life. Our attempts to restore and save everyone's data the last time caused new and old files to merge. 7 days is a fluid game and by that I mean it adapts to changes and old data might be wrote over with new data. or if it sees something missing it replaces it with something new and that takes over as the main file or code. This is what caused a lot of damage and corruption the last time. Forced restarts played a big role in further causing conflicts. We learned ruthlessly that this is not the correct way to run the server for stability and performance. We will be avoiding mods for loot as these cause a boatload of issues for now. Just working on what we have. WE CAN RESTORE SAVES NO ISSUES! For the RoadMap: - Stability and Performance Tweaks - Configuring existing content to make gameplay better - Promoting server to increase a consistent population on the server - Work on the server provider to ensure connection is good and sufficient (Special Thanks to sunder for the behind the scenes work) - Ensuring all Mods are updated to the most current version. Me and Enkubus and everyone else are slowly coming back on and are enjoying the game so feel free to join us in game. Same Rules apply as before, everything is up to you guys how you want to play, raid, fight, survive, team ups. If anyone does want to stream, feel free to contact us and we can swap out the zeds to be more twitch compliant. Take Care Guys and Hope to see you guys on this weekend!
