meganoth
It looks like an error, but I can't say because you probably left out parts of the error message. Even if not, without a FULL logfile our ability to help is seriously hampered. Push your full log to pastebin as explained in the pinned thread in this forum section and post the link

It hasn't updated since the 10 slot toolbelt addition in 19.1. Couldn't find any info on "The Mess" mod. link?
meganoth
First try to start a vanilla game, i.e. with the Mods folder moved out and any libraries in Managed reset to default if they had been changed. If that works the culprit is one of the mods, very simple. If not, updating to ubuntu 20.04 might be an idea because TFP is probably testing only on a recent linux version (though I expect 18.04 should still work or we would have heard earlier about this) Edited August 6, 2021 by meganoth (see edit history)
Beelzybub
@meganothI've tested with ubuntu 20.04 and not had an issue. 18.04 is still supported and should work as well. I can test that also, but pretty sure the problem is the mods. Edited August 6, 2021 by Beelzybub (see edit history)
morggin
I took the mods out and the problem persists ... I'm willing to bet it's the imbedded graphics card in my Dell PER710 server that is killing RWG. That was a known issue in the past that may still be relevant. meganoth
Oh damn, where is my brain? A bug with some configurations not being able to create RWG worlds is known for a long time and I should have remembered it because I myself have to circumvent that bug whenever I want to create an RWG world. This bug is part of the reason there are pregen worlds included in 7d2d. I don't know if your game tries to involve the Matrox card in generation, but even if not your chances to successfully generate a world in RWG are less than 100%. So even if you removed that card the problem could still persist. If your main PC is able to generate a world, do it there and copy the world over to the server. In A20 these problems might be a thing of the past as RWG is extensively rewritten and the bugs will likely be addressed (I can see them flagged as "work in progress" in the bug list)
