Memeready Posted July 13, 2021 Share Posted July 13, 2021 There are 3 important things in 7 Days To Die that need to be improved. These 3 things are the audio overhaul, physic overhaul and some animation improvements. The audio in 7 days to die are 3D. However, they still don't feel as real as they should be as it is missing the echo's. The voice chats on the other hand aren’t even 3D nor do they echo. An example of this is the game RUST as the echoes of gun shots and not to mention the 3D voice chats really do fully immerse you into the game. The next thing 7 Days To Die could improve on is the physics overhaul. The physics in this game doesn't really feel right. For example if a zombie is shot on its left arm, its animation will still remain the same. It doesn't matter if it's a bow or a sniper, hitting a zombie should send them stumbling back, not continuing hitting the player until their health has reached zero. If 7 Days To Die could have the same it would most likely be the best survival game out there. In my opinion there should be no animation while being hit but they should always have their body in semi ragdoll mode so they interact properly with different forces to their body. The best example of this is Dying Light. The animations in 7 Days To Die normally don't feel right, such as looking at your friend walking, running, jumping, crouching, punching and etc. The hitting a tree with a hatchet (or any other item) animations are also a bit disturbing as the hatchet currently in the game doesn't get stuck onto the tree when it's used to cut it down, instead it looks as if it has merely touched the tree. the animations also remain the same with every hit on the tree. They could be improved by adding at least 3 different hit animations played randomly. Other games like rust, the hatchet gets stuck in the tree for half a second making the game feel more real and right. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kaioken Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 True I feel like the game would be a whole lot better if they make the zombies a ragdoll when it dies instead of having death animations. Although I also wish they would add boss fights in different biomes or maybe in every 14th night.
