Sarakatunga
Hello, I have some doubts about the performance of the dedicated server, Before I had a Fx 3850, Memories g skill 2133 mhz and I upgraded to a ryzen 7 3700x with Memory Ram Vengeance Rgb Pro 16gb Corsair 3200 mhz, With the fx in horde gave me about 10 fps on the server and I am seeing that with the ryzen I do not improve much with 11 people it is giving 15 14 10 fps. I have the dedicated one with Windows 10 pro 64 bits, with a 240GB 223GB KINGSTON SV300S37A240G ssd. Practically it is not what I expected, what am I doing wrong or this processor is not good, let's say? I have the server 64 max Z horde for player 8. As when I had the fx. The_Great_Sephiroth
For what its worth, I have hosted 8-players servers on an i5-2500 with 16Gb of DDR3 for years using a mechanical 500GB HDD. The major difference is that the system I use runs 7 Pro 64bit. Heck, I even host an Ark server there for a while.
Sarakatunga
I already solved the issue, it was a question of configuring windows. I also installed parkcontrol. I thought that I was not going to find an improvement with that, but the improvement it has now is incredible. Later in the next wip I will try linux to make differences. The_Great_Sephiroth
Must be a Windows workstation thing. When we run our servers on a Windows box it is normally Server 2019 and it works great. Linux works even better out of the box EXCEPT in Ark. For whatever reason the dedicated Ark server for Linux uses more RAM.
