DISAPPEARED CROPS

I've spent the last week looting, buying, and creating various seeds and built a nicely sized farm. All the crops are inside my landclaim block, and the server I'm on is PVE and doesn't allow other players to damage blocks of other players in any way, including crops. I went to do a mission and when I came back, the overwhelming majority of my crops and their seeds were randomly gone. I'm missing like 53 crops.....is this a common bug?

Not in my experience. I have seen occasional crops damaged due to a wandering horde that I didn't notice as I was leaving the base, but only a few and rarely. If you go out on a quest, there should be no activity at your base.

Do you have someone set as a friend/ally?
If so, then they can build, harvest crops on/around your claimed land.

Does the location of your crops overlap with the POI territory where you performed the mission?

I have not heard of this, specifically, but maybe some ideas.  I’m assuming that the server you’re playing on is not yours and is admin-ed by other people.... best bet is to ask the admins and maybe they can give you an answer and/or regift you your crops/seeds.

 

1. maybe the server had issues and the admins had to restore from a backup, from a time where your farm was not planted?

 

2. maybe there is someone who is acting as a “bad admin” and either just took your stuff, or deactivated the land claim , and someone got to your stuff? Maybe they then reactivated it? Or maybe they had issues and the land claim was temporarily not activated for you (or everyone) and they’re not aware you were affected

I hate to ask the obvious, but did you “magically” obtain seeds in your inventory after your last harvest of the missing crops?
