Electrical Help

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I have a set up of 2 x 2x2 dart traps, 10 pressure plates, 2 electric fences, 4 blades.

Vedui's vulture build. I finally got the darts working, somehow, I don't understand the process enough.

But the electric fence relays I can't figure out at all.

He also shows an amount of xp that can be farmed. After my last horde night I gained no XP, the darts and the blades were the only thing working. Have I missed something?

What is the actual way to set up these traps in general?

The trap XP comes from a perk in Intelligence, maybe later ranks of Advanced Engineering. Will say so in the description, check them out.

The electric fence is slightly different, the trap is formed at the connecting wire between two posts; you'll need to bring power from a generator to the first fence post, and bring a connection straight from the first post to the second. And from the 2nd to the 3rd etc.

Feel free to use whatever switches, relays and triggers you want between the generator and the first fence post, but none between the fence posts.

I just checked: if you buy the "advanced engeneering" perk, you can get up to 50% of XP from electric fence kills. So a question arises: do I get experience from turrets kills? I can't find any perk about it. If so, do I get 100% of the experience?
