JG42
So I've had a look, and while there are a few topics regarding the above, none appear to mention the problem I'm having. I've created a new, random map (via NitroGen). I've loaded up the new world and exited. I then go into the save file for my previous game and locate the necessary player files, copying over the ttp and ttp.bak files over to the new game (not copying over the .map file). When I then load up the new game, it has copied over my old player (level, skills etc) but for some reason it's still using the old map, not the newly generated one, dumping me at the same spot in the old map that where I left my previous game. Any idea? I thought that if I didn't copy over the .map file from the old save, it would just load me up at a random spot in the newly generated map but with my previous character attributes? SylenThunder
Delete the Steam64ID.map file. You only want to copy over the Steam64ID.ttp and Steam64ID.ttp.bak
JG42
Perfect! That's done it, didn't realise I had to delete the .map file altogether. Thanks
