Split screen for pc

Split screen for the pc soon? My wife and I play on ps4 but I'm building a pc and would like her to enjoy this game with me.  But I can only make one pc, I bought the game already for my future pc. Please let me know what could happen if it is possible. Even if there was a one time fee at a reasonable price like 14 or 19$ I'd pay that for offline pc split screen. Thanks ~

To answer your question, there is no split screen with the PC version.

 

I have heard that 7days is on Gefore Now. I don't know any details about it, I just see a small chance it could be a way for your wife to play together with you if you can find another device with a browser and keyboard.

Split screen is a console exclusive. It is not planned for the PC version.

There are external ways to achieve split screening, as long as your computer can handle two games running (sacrificing some resolution and settings easily achievable with 32gb of fast ram and a decent processor) with enough power to spare for properly handling two sets of inputs. I've heard of people using ASTER to help with it, but I've never done it and I'm sure there are many other programs that can help.

You can give it a try and make 2 virtual PCs out of one powerful machine. Guess Linus had something of a kind on his channel.
