Larthas
Hey there, hope that is the right place for this. I play 7DTD on a Ubuntu maschine, and I use mods on my game, so in the last days I found a problem, that maybe connected to the GLCore, when I used weapon mods I had no texture on it, players on windows had them. So I checked a bit and when I use the Vulkan Renderer all the texture shows up, on all mods with custom weapon models. So this is for people they use Linux like me and have the same problem. Use the Vulkan Renderer option in the Launcher that will fix the issue. Greets Jack
meganoth
Reminds me to try out vulkan again, maybe it is stable enough now. What graphics card do you have? There may be bugs that only happen on either nvidia or AMD cards or even specific card generations.

I had an RX580, but it seems rly a prob with the GLCore and the mods, my GF is playing 7DTD as well, she used Windows (Nvidia Graphics) and to avoid the problems with the phatom blocks we used on her PC the GLCore, so she got the same problem there but not on all mods only on Firearms Expansion 3. Now we used both Vulkan and it works pretty well an stable. We played 3 hours and no CTD or other garphic bugs
KhaineGB
Mods like Firearms Expansion 3 need to build their assets with shaders for linux otherwise you'll get that issue. And not everyone does. So that's not a game bug.
xyth
There is a multi platform export script that exports the linux/mac shaders out of Unity for custom models. The older script that many modders still use is windows only.
