DannyBlazeTM
Hello fellow survivors, After more than a month's break from the game, I've decided to play a new solo map only to discover that I am now being plagued with constant crashing. Often the game immediately crashes as soon as I click anything on the main menu, though sometimes I am able to browse the options. Reinstalling, updating drivers, verifying cache, etc all do not work to solve the issue. My system has not undergone any significant changes since the last time I played other than installing a new Wi-Fi adapter to replace one that has died on me. As far as mods are concerned, the only one I have is CompoPack, the latest version I could find on these forums. I also use Nitrogen for my maps. meganoth
Nitrogen hasn't been updated lately and could be the cause. I would suggest to first test one of the pregenerated maps without ANY mods to see if it is the game or one of the mods, then add compopack and a nitrogen map one by one until the game shows problems again. I would also suggest to use this method to get a fresh clean start: Please always post the game log, a howto is in one of the sticky threads in "General Support"

I had also already wiped all previous savegames from older versions as well as old maps. https://pastebin.com/WW8Cj8pk - Output log from the last attempt. I'll try the file cleanup next. meganoth
Ok, the logs seem fine. On the error message you are getting from windows: There are a few webpages with suggestions. One from 2018 and offered on a microsoft website seems worth a try, but be careful, I think it turns of a security feature. Especially if it doesn't work you should reverse it (for that you should first check how it is set at the moment before changing it). The other suggestion is to update graphics drivers. If you have the newest you might instead install an older one. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/bex64-error/75ef6860-3f55-4bc0-8659-033381faeaa2
