FA_Q2
Been playing this game a long time and just came back after a hiatus. Been having a very bad case of input lag that is rather strange and I have not had this problem before in any version from 16.0 to 19.0. For short stretches of time movement and other commands will lag about a half second behind. What is rather strange is that frame rate, entities and other in game events are progressing just fine without any issues. The game is running just fine except that actions are delayed to the point of destroying gameplay. Lag effects both mouse and my controller (orbweaver) inputs. Has not happened to me before and I am running is SP so not a server or internet issue. I do not think it is a performance issue because nothing else seems to be effected. Happens most indoors and larger POI's, particularly when on a quest, but not necessarily when zeds are present or spawning in. Happens with and without enemies in the area. Does not happen in any other application even games that significantly tax my system more than 7 days does. Has anyone else seen input lag spikes like this? Have you managed to fix it? SylenThunder
Cap your framerate in GPU settings, and disable V-Sync. Can also occur as a result of 3rd party controller software. Set the "Use native input" option in the launcher.
FA_Q2
TY, set up native input and made a few other changes to my settings to lessen the overall load. Have not capped my framerate yet but this seems to have helped a bit.
Jugginator
Raw/Native input is always something you should set first thing in a game to prevent input lag for sure. There's also this guy that's on by default on windows: You want to turn that off, too.
