abbott_79
All public listed servers that I attempt to connect to result in a server timeout error. The frustrating thing is I can get a connection to most if I re-try enough times. This has been happening for months, but it is getting worse recently - more tries needed before I can connect. My logs (example attached) show no errors during each attempt. I have the steam folder exempt from my virus scanner. Anything else I can try? Beelzybub
I just tried connecting to those servers and didn't have a problem. If your files validate fine, try cleaning your appdata/roaming/7daystodie/SavesLocal folder out, then try to reconnect. If that doesn't work, it seems that your problem is network related. Just some guesses here, so, ymmv; Do you use a VPN? Maybe it's blocking those sites, or ports. Maybe your ISP is causing the issue by blocking some ports. Maybe your router is low quality and needs regular reboots. Maybe you're in a country that is restricting internet to the U.S.A. Maybe you're on a wi-fi that's causing connection issues. Maybe your ping to those sites is too high. Maybe something's wrong with your EAC install. Maybe you have a virus that is re-routing your dns. The server log will show why you're being booted, but that would take some effort to get. Maybe you could ask on one of their websites for help. They seem pretty friendly and supportive. Fallofdarkness
I keep having the same issue. I Have never seen the error until today and now it happens all the time. I tried multiple servers, restarted the game, restarted my machine, verified the game files in steam, uninstalled/reinstalled. A fresh install let me play for 10 or 15 minutes. now I keep getting disconnected. Other multiplayer games on steam are working fine.
Star69
Post your output log. Ideally, start your own thread but at least post your log so we can see what might be causing the problem.
MoYoX
Same problem for one of my friends. Everybody can play on our server except him. He can't join any public servers listed. He can join any player's server (on a local player computer). We did all we can (router ports, fresh install, regenerate map, disable firewalls etc ...) without success. All other multiplayers games works fine.

MoYoX
I moved the server from UK to Germany, it worked. Maybe a BREXIT thing .... So try to relocate your server in another country.
Fallofdarkness
I didn't save any logs from when I had the problem. It seemed to occur on two separate instances, both of which were resolved by updating my steam client. After forcing steam to close, the next time steam launched it showed a quick message that steam was updating, then I could log into the public servers.
