New to mods

Hello modding community. 

 

I am looking into trying out mods for the first time. Not me modding, just wanting to use mods. I am not super savvy with computers. I am wanting to play War3ruk. I came across a mod launcher and can't seem to find it again. Is the mod launcher a plug and play?  Are adding mods simple?

Welcome to the world of mods and overhaul.
Go to the Game Modification section and then enter the Tools section, with the 7dtdModlauncher you will find Warzuk AIO and other mods, I have not used it, but it is easy to add the mods or overhauls of the game.

Next question. I play with a controller. Can the game be started through Steam i.e. Big picture mode? There are a couple functions that I cant use. Mainly the search bars, and adding points onto the map.

Sure, the game opens in full screen.
The detail would be that there are some functions that you cannot use with the controller, it may be some incompatibility or bad configuration, but you can use the keyboard and mouse as a second option.
