Transfer Region from one world to another

Hi everyone,

My friends and I have been playing on a world for multiples hours, we spend most of our time building  a nice base (cool tower with an underground garage) before exploring the map. (Default 8192)

When we started exploring we founded that the map really sucked : a lot of wastelands and burned biome, no river/lake, no interesting POI, etc.

We decided to create an other world with Nitrogen A19 and ComboPack this time (I didn't know it existed at the time).

Is there a way I can transfer my base and all the item inside to the new world? (The base is set inside and around a POI)

Can I  transfer the region file of my base to the new map, that way I'll be able to keep the base? If so how can i do it without bugging the new map?

I already have the region for my base : -3.-1.7 and -4.-1.7

Let me know if you need more information

Thank you!

(first time posting, let me know if I'm in the wrong section of the forum ;) )

Your best bet is to export your base(s) as prefab files then adding them to your new map via the world editor.  Items in containers won't be saved so probably best to just settle on giving yourselves some items from the creative menu when you guys start the new map.

This is a good idea!

Will we be able to transfer the part around and under the POI?

We just don't want to loose all the underground part of the base and the setup outside the base.

Also will we keep the electric setup ?(Light, turret, etc.)

Thank for the quick response

Yes, you can export underground as well.  It will save any blocks in the selection but you will need to rewire the electrical blocks.  Here is a video on how to do the export.
