KotonoHanako
My PC bluescreened after suffering a memory management in the middle of a game I was hosting to a friend. Upon restarting and opening up the game, I could not find the game I was playing on. However, when I checked my game files, my world was still there. What do I do? Making a new world with the same name also shows that the game reads the file but doesn't show it for some reason.
KotonoHanako
Those two files, main.ttw.back.loadFailed and main.ttw.loadFailed keep reappearing everytime I try to find the world to continue. I have no idea if the world is corrupted or not.
Roland
It is corrupted. When the game crashes there is an extremely good chance that it will happen right in the middle of writing save data since the game saves every few seconds. Sometimes this results in being able to play the saved game but all your progress is lost and sometimes it makes your saved game unable to even be loaded. Making a backup of your save every few plays can be a good protection. Also don't play during stormy nights...
