Coffecatte
Hello, My group (6 players) has been playing a map we started on the "latest experimental build" 19.3 for the last month. Today everyone updated to the stable release, and tried to connect to the map, hosted by our friend but not a dedicated server. No one is using mods, everyone is on Windows. The host was able to start and open the map, but no one was able to connect. We have tried connecting to a new map created on the latest update, and everyone is able to connect okay. I noticed in my log showed "LiteNetLib" failed, but then was connected to Zerig's server: 2020-08-22T16:11:09 853.220 INF Connecting to server Zerig... 2020-08-22T16:11:09 853.220 INF NET: LiteNetLib trying to connect to: 73.199.104.89:26900 2020-08-22T16:11:14 859.023 INF NET: LiteNetLib: Connection failed: ConnectionFailed 2020-08-22T16:11:14 859.023 INF NET: Steam NW trying to connect to: 73.199.104.89:26900 2020-08-22T16:11:14 859.023 INF [Steamworks.NET] NET: Connecting to SteamID 90138166205208580 2020-08-22T16:11:14 859.024 INF Started thread SteamNetworkingClient 2020-08-22T16:11:19 863.601 INF [Steamworks.NET] NET: Connection established 2020-08-22T16:11:19 863.845 INF [Steamworks.NET] NET: Password accepted Then after loading a while it looks like the server ended the connection to the client. Any help with this would be appreciated! Thank you! Coffecatte
Quick update: Hosted the map on my computer and adjusted players from 16 to 8, players are able to connect now. Must be either the player setting or the host, I'll troubleshoot a bit more when I have time.
Beelzybub
Line 762 from your log: 2020-08-22T16:07:51 655.563 INF World file dtm_processed.raw is different than server's version: received BFFBD9DB, calculated 50F21309 Your world file didn't match the server. I would delete your local save and let the server give you a fresh copy. Your local save of that game is this folder: C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming/7DaysToDie/SavesLocal/8FC62F6FBAC4274AA6A00F7CA9864A85 The litenetlib errors would indicate a port not opened correctly on the server.
