Texture bug annoying in multiplayer

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hey, it's my first time in this forum, I write this to help me, what are this texture bugs? Can someone help me? How to fix this :/ it is annoying, it is a multiplayer game peer to peer (no dedicated server)

***************************************

1. video settings (screen shots)

2. graphics card used (output log has most info we need)

3. disable mods as some can affect game in different ways

4. disable 3rd party programs that claim better game experience

thanks :)

Does it occur if you verify your files and play without any mods?

I don't know, I tell you when I try it, thanks

You need to make sure you are playing with Occlusion AND Texture Streaming turned ON.

Schwanz9000

GamePref.OptionsGfxOcclusion = False

GamePref.OptionsStreamingMipmapsEnabled = False

I've gotten this, rarely, twice to be exact. Once, I was playing on a Nitrogen map and I did some... crazy editing of the world in the world editor, then that kinda stuff happened when I loaded back in. I really don't remember doing anything to fix it other than log in and back out a couple of times.

The second was a couple of cases on a map/server hosted by a friend (co-op play, just the two of us). It happened when my friend's internet had a hiccup, causing a sudden disconnect and then this happened (noticeable lag, seemed as if the world was duplicated). Deleted the local world file on my end and got a fresh one upon rejoining, and that solved it. So, maybe try that if it happens again.
