Bug or feature?

The blood also looks pretty fresh, like it died less than an hour ago. Or killed someone and it just so happens that that persons blood is wettening up it's own wounds.

But yeah, looks generally good. New animations would be brilliant as well.

I can see all the people who just bought something along a RX580 especially for this game, beeing not very happy. :p Seriously, how hard will this hit our hardware?

Everytime TFP messes with the lighting expect the first month of the new alpha to run like crap, till they iron it out, its happened pretty much every time.

This is what you get when you don't research before buying (or take unnecessary risks just to save a few bucks). Majority of gamers know AMD GPUs have less overall support in most games than Nvidia due to poor drivers and firmware.

It never runs like crap for me... aside from those stutter issues I had for a few years which was completely unrelated to hardware and both Nvidia and AMD users suffered equally.

Developers should start to support AMD more. The 5700XT for example is a solid card actually. We as customer need the competition badly. Just look at the pricing Nvidia did with the 20xx series compared to the 10xx series. It would suck to be stuck with Nvidia because devs (not only TFP) are lazy. Also i would prefer a title wich supports both brands when buying a game, no matter what my current GPU is, so i am not stuck with a brand when upgrading. It´s in their own interest also.

It's not the developers' fault, it's AMD themselves (most of the time). AMD has even admitted to being slow and sloppy with their software and firmware and they intend to try to improve it. Also, I vaguely remember one of the devs mentioning something about how the game engine itself favors one brand of GPU over the other or something like that. And since Nvidia is the top dog, the devs have to go with it.

Whenever they do an update to the game, Nvidia usually takes it just fine without any issues, but the devs have to spend extra time each time to make sure it also works with AMD GPUs.

I'm just glad Intel and AMD uses the same CPU drivers. Can you imagine if CPUs also had conflicts in gaming?
