Vhalstein
I became the designated cook between me and my friend since I put points into the cooking skill. Recently though, I felt like the foods seem a bit...lacking, so to speak. I mean, the Pumpkin Cheesecake is probably the most interesting item on the list of foods you can make in the campfire if we’re excluding Grandpa’s recipes (and they’re not really food either). So I have here some food items and what would be required to craft them (without adding any new ingredient items): Fried Chicken Meal - Raw Meat - Animal Fat - Cornmeal - Corn - Potato Coffee Cake - Cornmeal - Animal Fat - Grain Alcohol - Coffee Beans Wastelander’s Spaghetti - Can of Pasta - Raw Meat - Mushroom - Bottled Murky Water Tuna Sandwich - Can of Tuna - Cornbread - Egg Grits (Courtesy of Theodryck) - Corn Meal - Animal Fat - Water Blueberry Jam - Jar of Honey - Blueberries Honey Baked Ham - Raw Meat - Jar of Honey - Animal Fat Wastelander’s Salad (Courtesy of Theodryck) - Plant Fibers - Snow Berries - Blueberries Burger and Fries (partially inspired by Theodryck) - Rotting Flesh - Animal Fat - Corn Bread - Potato Vodka - Potato - Bottled Murky Water These are just the first few I can come up with, the amounts and values of restoration I’ll leave up to you guys. I will add additional suggestions and other ideas I come up with for fun.
ElCabong
Those would be nice. I'm at the point now where I just need to have enough pumpkin and blueberry planted. I'd like to find a way to get more eggs though
Theodryck
Those are really good food recipes, but I dunno if I would add any more to the game, tbh. There are already a lot of foods you can make and after a bit you just start getting too much overlap. I mean, you could also add things like grits (corn meal/water/animal fat) or steak and eggs (grilled meat/ eggs) and maybe even french fries ( potatoes/animal fat) but I think there comes a point when adding more stuff is just adding more stuff that doesn't really do anything. Yea, hence why I said the Pumpkin Cheesecake is the only real interesting food item, since it actually DOES something. I can imagine my Coffee Cake idea granting stamina regen like Coffee would, etc.

Hell, you could probably even add "wastelander's salad" (plant fibers/snowberries/blueberries) for those doing a vegan build (or just need more fiber). I see you liked my grits idea, btw. Although I think I liked the French fries best ( goes great with chilli dog!)

Vhalstein
The game needs corn chips. Truly Yea, but chips without dip is a travesty and sadly with the current items there isn’t a logical dip alternative.

It’s a joke about how most fast food Burgers are usually made from the scrap meat and the low end quality meat.

eXSe
New food just for the sake of variety. Where do I sign? Also, could there be a way to implement cooking just as a mix of ingredients? Like to make up your own recipes? For example, I have one meat, one corn and a potato, so I chuck it in a pot with a jar of water and get out some kind of stew that's worth some % of those combined ingredients?
