Recommended Posts

Hello,

I Keep crashing to desktop on "initializing world". No error messages or anything, just a crash after ~20 seconds.

Anyone else getting this?

Greetings,

Not saying this is the problem but;

Are you allocating a bunch of RAM (1.5 GBs) to the integrated graphics? This line would seem to point to that.

Line 41 2020-03-06T20:41:12 12.120 INF RAM: 14569 MB

If so, that's a waste as your using the 1060 for gaming. The igpu will run a second monitor or whatever

with minimal memory allocated to it. Disable it if you're not using it.

Also, you ran out of memory for some reason. Maybe something is running in the background?

Check task manager to see how much memory is being used by the game and other apps.

And, it wouldn't hurt to check your pagefile settings, just takes a minute of your time. It should

be set to allow Windows to manage it.

Yeah that's a windows thing or something. going up to high %'s RAM or CPU when I'm not evening using any.

Funny thing is that I haven't changed any setting what so ever :') no idea why 1.5 GB are going to Integrated graphics :o

That would be a bios setting.

Safe if I turn that off?

UPDATE: Rebooted pc / switched the memory thing to wiindows regulation / verified steam files /

Now it seems to work like it used to again, strangeeee

Yes, if you're confident editing a bios. If not, since everything is working, maybe play it safe and leave it alone.
