haaammit
I was mid game and had a power cut. Since turning everything back on I can't get that game to load. Other saves load fine, but not my current one. I'll be gutted to lose it as there's many hours in that save. The issue I have is the console pops up and constantly outputs: NullreferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object and will not load. Any ideas? Here is the log (I think) https://pastebin.com/Da86WQbp
SylenThunder
Since the game is constantlyu saving data to the world, your player, and sever other files while you are running it, having the client shut down unexpectedly carries a very high risk for corrupting that data. (Same with the core of your operating system. You should verify files for both.) Your issue is that the main header file for storing world data is corrupted, as is the backup for it. You will need to start a new game save at this point. Back up your existing save. Then delete the files main.ttw and main.ttw.bak from the backup. Create a new save with the same seed and information as the one that just crashed, and start it up. Exit the game completely, then copy the remaining backup files into the new save. Start up the game, and you should have your save back. The one caveat to this is that you will be back on Day 1. You should still have your stuff and your builds though.
