requiemdios
If I am not using the launcher (because the modlet I want to use says it isn't compatible) what are the steps to install a MODLET? I have already unzipped the files to a "mod " folder in the same directory as 7dtd. Like this: E:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods Now what? How do I direct the game to use the files in the mod folder instead of the regular files?
ironxlungs85
You're doing it right. Thats the default file path for mods used with 7 days.
rivle
make a new folder in \7 Days To Die\Mods and copy the files (Modinfo.xml etc) in to this folder. The game will detect and use the mod by default.
requiemdios
Will the splash screen look different? How do I know it has loaded properly? - - - Updated - - - Also, does it just use all the mods in that folder? Can I turn some on or off (like with TW Warhammer II)? rivle
It will use all mods in the \Mods folder. I think the only way to turn off a specific mod is to delete folder. When you start the game just press F1 in main menu and you will see all correct loaded mods.
