rawrturkey Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 So i came back to the game after a very long break to find the game is now running super poorly on my system on lowest settings im getting 100% gpu usage on one of my cards i know the game might not support sli but i cannot understand why it runs so poorly now when it never used too i've had the game since it first came out i did follow the tips stated here "https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?94524-Tips-for-Improved-Performance-on-a17-Experimental" but these did not help me any help would be amazing my pc specs are CPU i7-4790k @ 4.3 ghz RAM 32gb GPU 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 sli oc windows 10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Boidster Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 Dumb question - drivers up to date? I have a GTX 960M laptop and it runs fine there on medium-high settings. Much less grunt than your system so it's gotta be a drivers or settings thing. Or the SLI - can you disable that temporarily? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SylenThunder Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 Game doesn't utilize SLI, and 100% GPU is something you want. I'd recommend a clean driver install without the GE-Force experience BS. Most likely the latest Windows update to 1909 replaced your driver with the MS-Certified POS driver that doesn't have any true support for Direct3D.
