dowz0r
Hey everyone, I've been doing research for the past few days on how to get my game running comfortably. My main components are 1060 gtx 3gb, i7 8700k and 16gb of RAM. I have my game installed on my m.2 ssd. I have these issues that I'm dealing with; 1. Texture Quality when turned to full results in a dramatic FPS drop as compared to half, depending on the direction I'm looking at sometimes. Just curious whether that's normal or not. I have it at half currently. The only thing that bothers me as that specific textures like storage chests look really crusty - others appear fine. Not sure fi that's normal either. 2. This is a pretty big problem, I can only play the game like 1 hour - 1.5 hours at a time otherwise my entire system crashes/locks up. My GPU typically runs pretty high, although it doesn't go past 78 C (I've read that this isn't necessarily a dangerous temperature, around 85 C I believe you should be worried). I monitor it through a program (argus) and it's usually at 100% load. It runs this high on other games, although I've never had a crashing issue like in 7DTD. Just curious if anyone has insight on this whether it's normal or not. All my other components are fine, CPU is around 60-65 C. Any insight is appreciated! SylenThunder
Disable shadows and reflections, motion blur, ssao, and enable texture streaming. (I think it's enable. If you have less than 4GB VRAM you want it on I think, but I forget which way it goes.)
