Aldranon
From the multiple youtubers I have watched that play 7days I have deduced that your game causes these youtubers to lose 60-70 IQ points and have the observational skills of Helen Keller. Just an observation I have made. As a shooter game, most people who play them enough are very observant, some are not, but they die a lot too! As to IQ loss... Did I mention it was a shooter game? Edit: As to a Youtuber when they are multi-tasking: -Trying to say something intelligent. -Searching for Zombies and loot. -Trying to keep everything relevant and entertaining. All this is much harder than it looks! If you are terribly annoyed and not just joking (like I first thought you were) then, perhaps you should find a good female youtuber as women tend to be better at muti-tasking. Not sure if it's biological or women are more disciplined or what. But it's been shown to be true in numerous studies.

Unfortunately for you I don't need to be told by strangers how great I am, so I don't have a youtube channel or twitch channel. I play games for entertainment not to get my ego stroked. Liesel Weppen
I don't like watching LPs, because people play not the way i would. Watching 7d2d LPs is like: "What are you waiting for, open the ♥♥♥♥ing loot container" "You've missed looting that book shelf" "Didn't you see the Zombie there?" "Didn't you hear the zombie steps from behind you?" "Reload your ♥♥♥♥ing weapon" "You forget to take repair kits when equipping for the raid" "You're at full food, why are you eating stuff?" "There's a single zombie, why are you wasting your arrows, especially when you let the Z come into melee range anyway" That's not limited to 7d2d, that's basically always when watching open-world-crafting-game-LPs. I'm sure i'd comment my own videos the same way when just watching and not playing.
Orclover
I would do it but I don't have the hardware necessary to stream, barely have the old hardware to even play. But they would get very very bored watching me do Tier V clear quest on a speedrun but maximum efficiency to safety and ammo or my minimalist POI based horde night sniping. Also, I do not have an British accent. I have a southern drawl, that would apparently irritate the masses. Also swearing, pretty muchly constantly swearing. As a side note, It's funny how alot of people complain about such things but everything is easier to call out from the third person from the comfort of their tv/monitors. A good analogy is back seat drivers...😂😂😂 Its surprising what mistakes or bad decisions are made when a person is under pressure/stressed/distracted. Fox
I think the problem with a lot of gamers (including streamers) is that they can often be incredibly good at 1 game or particular genres of games but the moment they step out of their comfort zone, they become a blatant novice at it. I noticed it recently when I saw Ryukahr play Minecraft for the first time. The man is a master at Mario games and games of that style (and I'm not exaggerating either... he holds records), but the moment he tried Minecraft, his limited range in gaming showed. It literally took him more than an hour to figure out he could make tools and do stuff other than explore and punch stuff. After a dozen videos in, I'd say he's now got as much Minecraft skill as my dad. You can be average at all games, pretty good at a lot of game genres or excel at 1 game genres, but you definitely can't excel at all of them. What's interesting is that game companies have figured out that showing a video of someone playing a game poorly is actually an effective marketing device to get people to purchase the game. If they know they could do better than the example they saw they often feel compelled to play the game in order to prove it to themselves.

And to be honest, if i watch a LP of a game i haven't played myself yet, i do not recognize these issues. I usally watch games i'm interested in on youtube to get an impression on how they feel to be played. And i never feel like "i could do better", because i don't know the game. That first comes into account if i have played the game myself for several dozens of hours, but then i already bought the game a long time ago. Spiked_Coffee
I know I might be weird, but streaming doesn't need to be about stroking anything, getting paid, or anything like that. Sometimes it's just for fun. I started streaming because it was a challenge.....it's still not right....but what I didn't expect was that it also created a nice community. Naaa we're not huge....not even medium sized, but we have fun and chat all day long on Discord with people that play with us and watch us. That's probably why I only have 100 subs, but I'm happy with that. And while I can't really do it, spending an episode of an LP mining and getting views is an artform and should be appreciated. If they know they could do better than the example they saw they often feel compelled to play the game in order to prove it to themselves. Reminds me of a comic I read once of someone "teaching" a new player of an MMO game how to get proper directions and answers to questions. The new player was asking over and over in chat for some help or guidance or anything...and getting completely ignored. Finally the experienced player comes over and tells the new player to ask again, which the new player does, and the experienced player gives rambling, terrible, nonsensical and convoluted directions. At which point the chat immediately lights up with tons of people "correcting" the experienced player and giving accurate concise directions. The experienced player looks at the confused new player and explains that no one wants to bother to help some random person, but no one can resist correcting someone else who they think is wrong to show how much better they are. It is nothing about showing somebody is wrong. It's about "he is not doing like i would do (but how i'm doing is the only correct way)". But not doing everything exactly how somebody thinks makes these kind of game worth playing. That is exactly the point where you explain to other people why it is bad that the current skill system "forces" you to use a specific type of weapons and also a specific combination of ranged and melee weapons. They don't get it. You can tell "i prefer sniper rifle and machete". The answer is: "Don't do it that way, because it's a waste of skillpoints. Either do sniper and explosives and no melee at all OR do bladed weapons and pistols... BECAUSE the skill systems tells you to do so". That is exactly the point why i prefer such games, because usually, if done correctly, the skill system does NOT "force" me to do so. If i skill for machete, i skill for machte, and ONLY machete, not for machete and pistols! But A18 does... and that is not because i want to do it different, that is because the current skill system is just crap.

Have you seen those Dr. Squatch videos on youtube? Those are supremely explicit in their exploitation upon wee man masculinity. It's Bed, Bath, and Beyond for Beardbois. ejlarson
I have been enjoying Glock 9's videos more than playing in this Alpha. I don't watch any other streamers/youtube gamers at all except Slipgatr, but that is even limited to Ark. Glock 9 has a very laid back style. I really enjoy it.
