If I recall correctly, they removed the other snow zombies because they wanted to save memory space, and because the guy with the wolf hat was a bit out of place. I do miss them, though. They've stated that one day they'd like to add all the normal zombies to the snow biome and make them spawn with a "frozen" effect so it looks cool. Actually I would like them to go farther with this. Frozen, burning, waterlogged, desiccated. You can use an overlay texture to communicate the effect, and then apply one or more of their bonus/penalty systems to make each class of zombie be a bit different. Example: Frozen zombies always move slow, have bonus inherent armor, and have armor penetration on their attacks. All owing to frozen flesh. Just a pipe dream, but I would find it interesting.
