MechanicalLens 901
also Question! anyone can Answer. is it possible to delete old world seeds? Yes, you have to go under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die Then you go under the Data folder, then the Worlds folder, and viola. If that doesn't work, then press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard and then press are. A little tab will pull up; type in %appdata% into it. Then search for the 7D2D file

MechanicalLens 901
I've also found out that that is where you can find your world seed. By holding down the Windows key and pressing R, typing %appdata% into the tab that pops up, going under the 7D2D file, clicking on the GeneratedWorlds file, and going into your world file, there will be a file called "GenerationInfo"; that contains some lines of text, including your world's original seed. MechanicalLens 901
it worked. Thank you. if i could i would promote you 2 ranks Anytime ^^^^^ Edit: That's fine, thank you. No need to ask. I'd much rather earn my ranks, if I hypothetically do moving forward; I'm not a fan of hand-outs. ZombieSurvivor 35
First candy and now eye candy. Looks like somebody has a sweet tooth. LOL took me a few seconds for that joke to click but once it did I laughed, good one.
faatal 1,367
Grabbed from Unity, the game engine 7 Days to Die uses, documentation. I was just thinking of linking a Unity doc, but what you have there shows the basics.
faatal 1,367
ok. Can we Please see the Photo? Plz? Sure. This was just a test of doing distance fog with the updated post processing. It probably would not be that white if we used a fog mode that heavy.
Phoenixshade35 99
@fataal So far it has been any of the zombies, ive been using the baseball bat a lot lately, love it as much as the stun baton, but it seems like when i power attack the head of almost any zombie i have to aim at their chin, its really odd, then other times the hit connects, ive had them in my face and can't seem to hit them crosshair lined up and all, not sure what could cause that one. Also i was curious, does the big lady zombie have a gap in her dress that isnt a hit box, if so thats funny, shooting and having it go right between her legs. I did upload a video to youtube i called baseball bat looting and it happens a bit in that one. - - - Updated - - - @madmole I gotta say after reading about the candies i am a little intrigued about maybe using them, as it stands i hardly use any enhancements right now, never had a though about them, with the exception being steroids for weight issues, im liking everything i am seeing for 19 so far, i can't wait to try out the deagle, it is my favorite pistol, as far as pistols go are we stuck with just the 3, the normal one, magnum and deagle? I could almost think you could add a lugar as a tier 1 and move the others up a notch, just as an idea for maybe after
ZombieSurvivor 35
I was just thinking of linking a Unity doc, but what you have there shows the basics. Here is a link for anyone else interested reading the Unity Doc. https://docs.unity3d.com/2018.4/Documentation/Manual/index.html I've been reading this the past couple months when I discovered it. Very useful and helpful information! This has been one of the most interesting and on going reads I've had in a long time. Understanding exactly how unity works is extremely interesting and a hard friggin' thing to learn when you know the bare min to coding, graphics, game dev etc.
Phoenixshade35 99
I just thought of something else, will we soon be able to make our own power substations? I mean as in wiring more than one generator to a switch for shared power, or even wiring multiple generators together so that we can simply have like a generator room sort of idea, im hoping its possible for the coming alphas, @madmole or @fataal, what do you guys think? Speech 100 that looks creepy. if i see that and the zombies eyes are glowing i would start screaming! i Was thinking to myself about a Idea for fog. As something i call "blood fog". where after your first 7th day, randomly it could be morning , day , dawn or night. it would pass through and would cause zombies to slowly jog or walk (depends on settings) towards any player and they would try to attack you. basically a Crippled Bloodmoon and just basic zombies, and early a special zombie the look would be like a lightly Red fog with a mix of grey and white. agrastiOs 6
Yes this. Hopefully no more washed out lights, mining hat was pretty bad. I'm hoping it will help with the overall washed-out look reflections sometimes give.
jdifran 10
Yes this. Hopefully no more washed out lights, mining hat was pretty bad. Any chance we can get helmet lights or flashlights with low/medium/high intensities? Hit "F" to cycle through them?

I remember around Alpha 10 that people were complaining about too much fog in the game. One person put it as "Have you thought about changing the name to Seven days of Fog?". Now people want it back. Times have changed.

I'm fine with the fog, as long as it is actual fog and not some incredibly fine mist that washes out the screen.

Any part of head collider. Raycasts are shown in the editor and visibly hitting colliders. Hit logging shows correct full damage or glancing amounts. Hit boxes are around main bones in the skeleton. The dress would not have them. Hitting clothing with air behind it should not do damage anyway.

If that makes any sense A screen full of fog is not exactly the highlight of linear color space. We are just happy it is starting to not look like garbage, since turning on linear color space made a lot of stuff dark/bright ugly. Once a bunch of tweaks are done, we can show actual pictures of the world.
