possibly, but sales loot list and rewards are separate, and I just wanted to see if that was also under consideration. when he mentioned it, he was talking about what each one sells and has available for sale and when

We will be scaling it down some, it blocks way too much of the view.

Folks seem to persist in the idea that if you don't perk into your weapon it is next to useless. I always carry a variety of weapons for use in different situations no matter what I have perked into. Using a weapon from an unperked tree is better than letting yourself be shoehorned into limited options because of your perk choices.

Yeah, try hunting with a shotgun, you can't get close enough to kill them. Once I get a vehicle I just run them over and shotgun them, but until then I might carry some sort of rifle or mg for hunting.

That defeats speccing into PER if your bread-and-butter solution is then an unspecced weapon of another tree.

I use weapons from multiple attribute trees myself. Naturally now in stone age, but also later. For example I always carry a bow with me to pick off easy targets even when not playing AGI. But the weapons you specc into should be what you use mainly or your specialisation is wasted. I.e. can you explain how greatly increasing your ammo usage because you use an unspecced weapon for most of the time is a good strategy?

Ok. I assume you mean by that the waking-up-and-luring-them-somewhere-safe strategy. Will give it a try as I'm playing perception right now. Dangerous though as you have to run through a potentially trap-infested building to get them awake, simply shooting outside doesn't really work well nowadays.

 

EDIT: I have a hard time picturing how to get more than 2-3 zombies at a time to follow you in the typical dungeon-style POIs. And you need at least 3, better more zombies together to get your mileage out of explosives.

I guess the difference between using 3 7.62AP ver 4 rounds doesn't mean a lot to me when I have 1000 shotgun shells sitting in boxes. So what if I am not speced in Boomstick when I am looting a POI? I save the main power and quality for the horde nights when you need everything you can throw at them.

Because I at least rarely run out of ammo. Find most of my ammo, and craft very little.

They only spawn at nighttime, and if their spawns have not changed since A18, they are incredibly rare. My worlds generally last between 80-120 hours, and in some of my worlds in A18, I never encountered one.

i found one.

 

once i was fixing my wires at night and then all the sudden a bear came out of no where at attacked me. i ran inside and grabbed my TAR and lit him up. i though it was a zombie bear but i harvested him and got meat, fat, bones, hide and TE  

 

 

 

morale of the story? Keep you're dame door close!

 

 

AND DON'T FEED THE BEARS!

Speaking of zombie bears, I got back-to-back day spawns of 3 dogs and 2 bears. Was looting a building on the first one and only survived because the bears got stuck trying to get through a doorway. Second one I saw them coming and jumped on my motorcycle to seperate the pack and kill them one at a time.

 

Overall - I have seen a lot of of dog packs, they used to be fairly rare but seem a lot more common now.

same thing. But i had 4 zombie bears attacking my trailer! but it was fun! Hope they do more stuff like that!

I don't think I've ever been hit by a bear in this game tbh, they get stuck on something every time. The actual boss of the game is freaking vultures. I blame Faatal for the changes, the new vultures are HYPER aggro and can actually attack now instead of derping around in the air for 30 minutes.

 

I'd rather fight 20 zombies than 4 vultures. Is it just my bad RNG or do they have REALLY high injury chance compared to other enemies? I get bled, infected, and broken limb'd by those stupid birds almost every time

Hey Im holding off on starting a new world with my friends till A19 comes to stable and i was just wondering if its coming along smoothly obviously i dont expect to get a response to the exact day but just curious if things are on track and Stable will be coming soon  in the end id rather a good stable release than a rushed buggy mess so take as long as yall need just wanted to ask though

oh they aren't that bad!

 

just get a club, knife, Any object and hit them when they fly down!

Shotgun or rifle will also do!

 

 

i don't really see a difference aside from them able to break blocks!

I Figured as much thats why i was wondering how things were going like if they have come into contact with any big hiccups that may delay the games stable release further than they themselves had anticipated

Think about it this way. When they release an experimental build and it does not get promoted to stable within a week then I would say you can be pretty sure another build is coming because they found some bugs they want to fix. Not likely we will get a better indication than that.

You don't need to throw explosives, you can explode them in your hand and it wont damage you :)
