Honestly I forgot about the specialization pass I did. I went to visit Rekt the day before the loot swapped seeing if he had a minibike (he didn't) but he had a nice supply of fresh farm food, eggs etc so I cleaned him out, I had been pretty hungry the last couple of days (day 13,14) getting ready for the horde so my food supply was gone.

how can you forget that? 

imo that may be my favored feature for A19, i always have bad luck finding meds so ill love trader jen! plus gives me a reason to go to other camps

For some reason I don't have @%$*#! to eat in my latest game. I guess my crappy shotgun can't kill a stag, and mining/biking takes a lot of calories. I'm having a blast though, there is nothing like this before. I'm on day 13 and have the kind of gear you might have had on day 2 or 3 before, and I already know there is no good stuff anywhere in my near future, I'm level 25. I think people will be sucked into this for much longer than ever. There is no way I'm going to try and kill a bear.... muahahahahhahaha!

I must say, for all you other talents, your a great PR guy too!

Zombie MoFo actually rolls off the tongue pretty well lol...

With a pistol I really need to do headshots all the time, even with low-level zombies. I can put a whole magazine into a zombies body and he might still stand. Shotgun? Just point in the general direction and shoot, guaranteed hit and kill with two shots. Disadvantage is you need two double-barrels in your toolbelt (as long as you don't have a combat shotgun) and yes, low range (but that is adjustable with mods, try that with the club 😉)

 

 

...You should always do headshots. Regardless of weapon. Saves lives, time, ammo....

As for the balance debate, well, you basically affirmed what I said, if you need to carry 2 shotguns in the belt to compensate.

Weapons aren't the issue, imo, the lack of bonus for a headshot is.  Headshots should be king, no matter what your zombie lore is.

will raider enemy NPCs who can shoot back at you be added anytime soon? it would be such an amazing addition to this game and give it a new layer of strategy.

Did this ever get touched on? Like, is it a "this block makes a 5x5x5 area into a vehcile" thing or is it recipes for more vehicles that just use everyday blocks?

Always wondered how no one was wondering how this worked. a video would be dope though

The same applies to light. Why do I dig deep underground when I know the sunrise ...? It should be dark underground, like apologizing in the @%$*#!. It doesn't make any sense. Big compliments to the creator but instead of playing new ax models, please change such important issues as light and sound ....

Noone is happy with the sound system yet. All we have is distance fading, no occlusion. This gives me an idea though.

Let's hear it :) I've been posting about the sound system since alpha 14 I believe... I think it was the main reason I joined the forum almost 4 years ago.

I level really fast. I am level 30 by day 14, most people level one level a day so are about level 14. I got my shotgun from questing and a blunderbuss in loot. Like I said traders don't follow the new progression they are like they always were. We can address that in a future alpha, but even for Tier 4's I'm getting green T1's so I don't see a huge problem.

Especially if you can map it to the numpad as a secondary. (Not sure if this already works.)
