Distant trees and distant buildings

Hello guys i am loving alpha 18 so far, however my potato can not handle it very well, are there commands to eliminate distant trees and distant buildings? the command to eliminate distant terrain works good thats the reason i am curious about it, thanks in advance.

There's also:

 

gfx pp enable 0 (gfx pp enable 1 to turn it back on)

gfx af 0 (gfx af 1 to turn it back on)

The first is a post-processing effect and the second is anisotropic filtering for textures.

 

weather fog 0

weather clouds 0

These two are great if you're getting that awful halo-in-the-sky because of low video settings.

 

Lowering your resolution in the game's video settings will also help.

Yes there is indeed a console command that turns off distant buildings....and if i remember correctly, trees as well. I cannot remember off the top of my head what they are as I only did it once when i was getting familair with all the console commands a week ago.

 

Type help and that will give you a list of all commands. Now its just a matter of finding the command.

 

 

EDIT: Now that I'm thinking about it..... I'm not exactly sure about distant POIs. I remember turning off distant terrain...I swear I turned off distant POI as well. I'll shoot you a PM tonight after i wake up with the commands as I'm to tired right now to go through every single command.
